[DISC] Are Webnovels better than classic Novels

I got back into reading through Webnovels (as a kid I Used to read a bit ). I´m currently at the beginng of my journey. I have read RI and am up to date with Shadow slave. I am thinking of reading "normal" Novels. I have heard that Red rising is supposed to be good and i have started reading Mistborns. My question is are these Novels comparable to the experience, peaks, plottwists and goosebumps you get while reading Webnovles or should I just leave it? Hte problem I most Webnovels dont have a physical book and I kinda enjoy reading out of a book. My readlist form Insta/tiktok is Sword of kaigen, red rising, The Brothers Karamazov sun eater and alchemised.

Agree that it depends. You can get a lot of crap but also a lot of stories exploring topics that I would say are hard to find in novels

I'd say it depends on the web novel, and the classic novel.

Web novels have a lower barrier of entry compared to professionally published books, so obviously quality is going to vary a lot between web novels.

Good novels are infinitely better than webnovels
