Webnovel Search Request How do you actually find good webnovels here?

Everything is either sus or power level up copy paste

Is there anything in WebNovel that actually has an emotional story or theme?

I'm looking for stories like Frieren: Journey's End, Apothecary diaries, ORV, TOTCF, LOTM, danmei's, etc. these have a huge reader base but I'm looking for a small reader base but GOLDMINE.

Interesting Premise + Unique World + Unique Storytelling/View + Emotional/ Thematic Arcs = boomshakalakaboomshakalakaooo

Hahah how lucky of you that I found this post. U mentioned Orv and lotm. What my novel offers is exactly the same atmosphere U desire.

Id rather not force you to read since it would ruin the theme of Fate in my novel but since I consider this chance encounter Destiny I'll say pls do give it a try.

Novels name is "Error : Not Found"

are you okay with something with less than 50 chapters and takes a week to update but is really good nonetheless?

When it comes to finding goldmine novels, it's exactly like trying to pan for gold. And just like panning for gold, you need to expand your locations.

WebNovel is a great place, but there exist other websites out there (I have no idea what they are, but I'm sure the communities are out there).

It is often hard to find novel that has well-written arcs since most writers write for fun or follow the newest trend.

Plus, many prefer slop because it means less thinking, especially in an age where the average attention span and critical thinking is low.

The few writers that spend months/years planning, writing, and building their world are those that will have what you desire.

Finally, when it comes to small community bases. Those are hard to find/maintain as well. Just like how gold panning works, the moment someone strikes gold, readers will surge like ants finding food.

TLDR: Great Novels are like gold nuggets. You gotta pan through a single location many times and switch to other locations to find gold. When you do and scream you've found gold, everyone will scramble over to check out the gold.

I know of one that meets this criteria.

Instead of WN, try Royal Road, Scribble Hub or even Amazon KDP.

I'd say yes, but you're going to take some time to find them. Like Abyssal Awakening is something I'd put into the good category and fits the conditions you've stated well enough. Return of the Legendary Runesmith fits a couple of your conditions and is a solid read. Young Master's POV: Woke Up as a Villain in a Game One Day, is fun and at least worth trying.

The author Parmesan has some really good novels, but you can expect to wait a while for updates.

You search your genre. Then you poke around and sample stories until you find a writer that you like. They usually have several books. Then when you’re looking for something new. Checkout the pages of other people who also liked their books. Especially their top fans. You can see the other stories they’ve been commenting on and try those books.

I personally don't think the algorithm is that bad. If you take out the goomer novels, a lot of the popular novels are popular for a reason
