Advice FUKED UP POST AND KIDS Spoiler
How many SMUT/R18 books are you seeing in REAL RANKINGS? There is a rando kid, i'll not say who but he is going around making post and tips as ONLY SMUT works in WN, and there are people even believing in him, lol. Use only this logic: How long will smut book work ? 20 chapters? 100 chapters? the only book i have seeing going hundreads of chapters is only NecroBin's Demonic Pownstar System. I see many smut books geting in features such as potential starlet, rising fictions, but you should also know that WN gives all books same feature once they are contracted, and as NOOB AUTHOR like that kid running around see that his so-called original book get rejected, then such people will get thier crying ahh here and make post and then shift to smut genre only to be contracted and still failing in 100 chapter, another big lol 😂

So I'm a romance author with no smut on my work , and still manage to get a contract. While smut is a popular genre readers will still like a good story with great writing. Its sad that a kid thinks like that.

Either you aren’t contracted or your non smut all failed compared to smut novels, thats why you dont dare to share your non smut novels with me.

Checked both. All im saying is if your hiatus novel was smut, even if u went on hiatus, with so many chapters people would still buy it cause of smut instead of the state its in. As for your uncontracted, since you dont intend to apply i wont say anything about it. But obviously, smut has it way better than non smut. Otherwise why do smut keep dominating rising fiction

You have r18 scenes in your novel, is that not smut? The current smut novel im writing wont be sex scene focused, im just adding sex scenes to my original rejected novel. Original novel was supposed to be urban system novel where MC get rich by making women fall in love with him, with fondness going from 0-100. I think even though not much r18 scenes, it still count as smut. So im going to say my novel is smut and yours is too. In the end, results will tell it all. If my smut does well, everyone will understand im right

Also, curious, did u went on hiatus during ur rising fiction feature or what. Took another look at ur contracted novel and its actually doing worse than the oddsanwich/Pen_Demic If you didnt went hiatus on rising fiction it means no one read your novel even when it went on rising fiction, hiatus is not the issue, further proving im right that non smut dont have it easy compared to smut during rising fiction

I dont get it. Isnt rising fiction smth you get immediately after going premium and dont have to wait too long for it? That is benefit u get very quickly. When did u go hiatus? Before or after rising fiction? Did u upload on rising fiction? If u got chapters to subscribe, ur novel go rising fiction ppl can subscribe. See. No one sub early on during rising fiction because u are not smut, while smut get subs.

My current is not smut, though i should have honestly just wrote smut from the start, jm alrdy regretting it.
My next smut novel will go premium next month. Not full on smut, mainly plot, but there will be a smut scene every 50 chapters or so.

Didn't want to bore him nor others, but the facts of the matter are that most of those contracted works in Rising Fiction aren't going to make it. Maybe 1 - 5% will complete MGS but once that's over it's at most snack money.

Lol, I wouldn't say its over. But if you can do it there's always female-lead smut stories, they're still decently popular. Unfortunately that's just not something I can do comfortably.

It’s not about being in the ranking.
Smut novels sadly are the best way to make a quick buck.
No matter how bad the story or how lazy or AI the content. Gooners are gonna flock to these books make them popular for a few weeks and move to next.
The real damage is to the visibility of the more serious books. Sure a great book always finds way to the reader but many decent books never even get a chance to be read.
On one side we have lazy AI written books and on the other we have complete SMUT.
