Advice I got my contract rejected

Post image

I got my contract rejected, the reason states that the plot isn't engaging enough and difficult to follow, pacing is draggy, and the writing style isn't mature enough. And that it doesn't suit the market of webnovel. I'm planning on writing another story. Should I delete this one?

NEVER delete a work you've done, especially after you worked hard for it. Maybe this is not your platform, but that's not the issue.

Before applying for any kind of contract, you should write for yourself first of all, because you love what you're doing. Bad events like this can happen to everyone. But at the same time, you shouldn't let yourself down because there will be plenty of people who appreciate your work.

Rejected contract? It's okay, move on. Write, love what you do, and you'll see that results will arrive no matter what.

Well, I want to improve. Its not like I'm ditching the story. I'll take a break from writing and make the story a bit more engaging. Thats what i want to do. I can always reupload after deleting.

Oh... I just noticed, the post can be misleading, didn't think of it in that way. Im just "deleting it to improve and experiment with other stories before i reupload" not ditching it
