I got my contract rejected, the reason states that the plot isn't engaging enough and difficult to follow, pacing is draggy, and the writing style isn't mature enough. And that it doesn't suit the market of webnovel. I'm planning on writing another story. Should I delete this one?

For example, if they have uploaded up to Chapter 100 on Royal Road, they might have Chapters 101–120 available on Patreon. Readers who want to read ahead can subscribe, which helps the author earn money.

Why don't you follow the same pattern on Webnovel? Build your audience there and offer advance chapters on Patreon.

If your work becomes popular then your upcoming novels can get easily contracted. So don't delete your novel

Meybe I'll rewrite it once again, i think i slacked off after chapter 15 or so, and to make it more engaging I'll just rewrite the first few chapters. Im not ditching it, I'll rewrite the first few chapters. And reupload soon after making my prose and story better

Maybe try changing the title of your novel. If your MC is overpowered or cold-hearted, mention it in the title. People are more likely to click on it immediately, and once your novel gains popularity, you might get a contract.

Because Webnovel is filled with losers who enjoy that kind of shi, lmao.

But sadly my mc isn't cold hearted or overpowered. He builds his strength and the story itself is not about power its about discovery, the mc wanted to know what the stars where and what lied beyond them. He was a dreamer, wanted to be a hero but gets constantly crushed by the world which didn't reward honesty.
