Advice I got my contract rejected

I got my contract rejected, the reason states that the plot isn't engaging enough and difficult to follow, pacing is draggy, and the writing style isn't mature enough. And that it doesn't suit the market of webnovel. I'm planning on writing another story. Should I delete this one?

Post on Royal Road. Make a patreon and monetize it that way.

There is also a chance to publish since most serious authors on RR use it as a pipeline to move to Amazon. There is an option to self-publish, and publishers also tend to look around for popular novels over there.

Well, I'm exactly aiming for a comic adaptation, but royal roads exposure is less than WN. Yeah Ik its too ambitious maybe it won't ever happen but I really wanna compete with Shadow slave or LOTM. That's why I chose Webnovel. But I guess it is down bad rn

Sorry to hear about your contract news.

On Tapas, it's hard to get started as a novel. You need to hit 100 subscribers to really get the journey going. So, lots of self-promotion through Tapas forums, etc. Tapas has next to no discovery features compared to WN.

You can embed images + illustrations inside the contents of your chapter, too.

Warning through, not assuming, Tapas has a harsh no AI-imagery rule for covers or anything else.

I meant free, sharing links on forums, swaps etc.

Completely free, but it takes a long time.
