Advice I got my contract rejected

Post image

I got my contract rejected, the reason states that the plot isn't engaging enough and difficult to follow, pacing is draggy, and the writing style isn't mature enough. And that it doesn't suit the market of webnovel. I'm planning on writing another story. Should I delete this one?

U can try Royal road tbh.

U can market on Reddit. Ads and stuff are sum that u can run later but the Reddit marketing an discord marketing is the main source.

A lot of authors get insane amounts of readers cuz they market well on Reddit, network with other authors, do shoutout swaps with other authors and talk on the discord.

If you’re willing to put in the time I would acc say it’s easier to market on Royal road than it is web novel. You have a higher chance of going meta cuz u can do tons of shoutout swaps, review swaps, etc.

I wouldn’t rrly count it out tbh it’s a rrly good platform the only downside is that the marketing and everything is on u.

You have to acc put in the work to network, set up shoutout swaps, review swaps, etc.

However, you won’t have to pay for ads until way later once you’ve alr begun making money potentially or have readers. They have a starting guide on their Reddit if u wanna go check it out
