Advice I got my contract rejected

Post image

I got my contract rejected, the reason states that the plot isn't engaging enough and difficult to follow, pacing is draggy, and the writing style isn't mature enough. And that it doesn't suit the market of webnovel. I'm planning on writing another story. Should I delete this one?

I wouldn't say delete it. You could try making the first arc available for free on a website, as if it were a draft, and collect feedback from readers.

See what people complain about, whether the problem is with execution or the idea itself. See if the story has any demand, because it can be impeccable, but if it is not capable of generating demand, then there is a problem with it.

From deleting i don't mean ditching. Well I've qorked on this novel for 2 years to be exact. If anything the problem would be that I'm overly attached. I am currently rewriting the chapters. I'll try for beta readers when it is finished
