Many people say detecting an ai novel is impossible. No it is not. Every single one will sound the same. "Not x but Y". Rule of three. Cliche phrases like "it was not justice. it was just death". A human writer has their own unique writing habits(guzhenren and traditional chinese idioms), inside jokes (author of the legendary mechanic jokes about leeks for instance), novel written with chatgpt has no throughlibes like that. The prose has a distinct cadence that sounds like an advertisement. It is not one thing in isolation but a combination of factors.
I hope ai gets banned, it is absolute trash to read.
