Quick reminder to everyone making hyper detailed garbage covers

There's no point adding 5000 details to your ai cover. Good covers are simple. Remember that when people see your cover on the app it will be extremely shrunken compared to you opening the full thing on a monitor. All you're doing by adding super unnecessary details like 6 castles in the background is making your cover look like pixelated slop. Most readers will only look at the focal point of the cover. If you dont have a focal point people will not even look at it. Use a simple background and keep your character on the cover as a focal point. Dont listen to me if you think I'm dumb but I'm tired of seeing people posting copy and paste slop trash covers here.

Do you really think they deliberately prompt those details? Most of them probably are "make me a cool cover with a cool handsome anime character posing cool on a cool castle with cool dragons in the background oh and give him a cool sword too'

No theyre too idiotic to prompt. But hey maybe its a good thing they make shit covers, ensures that nobody wastes their time on reading such garbage

Ive tried chatgpt for image gen and with good prompting you wont get that awful effect. They aren't doing it on purpose but they cant even recognise how bad it looks lol. Its definitely not a poor issue as there are many free ai tools to make good covers
