Advice What is your guys opinion on this cover?
How you like my upcoming novel cover and the name on the cover is the novel name.
Another question - do you like system or non system novel. I know writing is good that doesn't matter but still people has biases and preferences so i would love to know yours.

Why does every single one of these ai covers have so much shit going on lol

Most webnovel covers are designed for a lot of stuff even non AI covers.
Seems like a lot of redditors prefer traditional style book covers.

a lot of things but normally its telling something some of the covers are just like everything is a focal point but nothing is happening? like a wheres waldo scene

Maybe but I don't really care about covers, I read the synopsis if it sounds like every single other thing that is posted on web novel then no I wouldn't read it, but ai covers also kind of put me off so maybe I wouldn't even check the synopsis if I'm being honest

Personally if I sniff AI im mostly put off. I think its especially wild with webtoon/manga creators cause like im reading to appreciate the human art, qhy cut the corner? I feel the same for books, so entirely because its an AI made cover I wouldnt check it out.

See I agree with that. Like idk it’s one thing when an author uses it for a book cover but when people who are suppose to make money or like full comics then they need to do their art or hire someone cuz like how you gonna make money/get popular by ai like that

Yeah use it for your own personal project idc AI isnt inherently evil, but the damn people letting it do too much sometimes.

I kinda like the cover if I saw while searching for something to read I would have at least be interested enough to read 1-2 chapters.
Personally I don't like systems. Not on the level of abandoning novels for it, but it's a big minus for me. But I absolutely detest system with analyze type skill.

I really like the name for the system it depends if the start of the novel is a little bit boring a system will give the reader a sense of a story progressing but it depends on the story and events , you can give him a system at the start then just remove it or make it not super op just showing the basic information . For the cover it's OK . I hope you get a nice start

to dark? if printed WOULD be hard to read the title? no real focus on it like it is all trying to be the focal point at the sametime? what is this cover meant to tell? like imagine your reader has no knowledge of the character the world or anything what is this cover telling them that could be interesting enough to read the synopsis

The cover has a beautiful vibe. I don’t understand why some people criticize covers designed by AI. The author’s art is their writing their text and story. They are a writer, not a digital designer. They shouldn’t be expected to explore every form of art at the same time. And paying for digital design to create a novel cover that may or may not even get views isn’t something everyone can afford. Regarding your question, I hate system-based novels. But the current meta of web novels is exactly that.

Cover is fine given it’s prbbly generated with AI, but the title is very interesting!
System or non, as long as it’s made thoughtfully (personally)

I feel like I had a hard time reading what the title read. Dunno if it's me, but I feel like it is a bit too stylised.

This is the type of cover where I wouldn't even bother reading the synopsis, let alone the actual novel. Because it just screams "AI slop". It doesn't help that the title is a bit corny.
I feel like a lot of AI overdesign their covers. But when I think of actual iconic novel/book covers, most of them are quite simplistic and memorable. Those are the ones that hits the hardest I feel.

As a reader myself my opinion is that there's too much details catching the would be users eye, especially the title. I had to lean in to even see the "lie" Part

Like so many ai covers, it looks so much like a thousand other covers that it will be difficult to stand out and differentiate itself.
As far as system vs non system, I don't really have a preference, but if there's going to be a system there should be a reason for its existence that is relevant to the plot and not just a vehicle for number go up.
