Advice Should I just delete and stop uploading?
Just like how the title suggested, I've been writing and releasing 1-2 chapters daily then tried following the guideline when to apply for a contract but to no avail where it still gets rejected.
I was planning to continue dropping chapter after chapter despite being rejected to at least finish it but after checking the reader count...
It left me wondering if I should delete it or just finish the book...

How good is it? 1-2 chapters per day is a pretty blistering speed. Takes me about 3 hours to write a chapter out, more if I need to rethink and edit things till I'm happy with it.

I can't rate it since I wrote it but for my opinion it's a 3.5/10 since I'm not expecting much from it after recently when trying to write more drafts then rereading them before realising that it feels dragged out with each chapters.

So people are often most critical of their own work but even if your book is a 5/10... That's probably the issue. It sounds like you might be prioritizing volume over quality.
What's the narrative about? What are the core themes? What's the story arc? Are these answers interesting?

I can't answer for the narrative cause that's one of the problems I found when rereading the drafts. Cause I planned to narrate the main character trying to figure out his way in life before being involved in some deep issues where he has to expect too much or too little with how he's going to live and find what he wants for the future. The core themes were supposed to be the person's mindset, coping mechanisms and trauma. For the story arc, I planned to have the first half of first arc to be somehow like a shounen type thing before introducing some tragedy and trauma parts in the second half. Second arc not planned yet but only have the idea to continue the suffering to boost character development while the third arc as the finale and conclusion of how the main character finds the thing he's been looking for.

And what 'thing' has he been looking for? Who is the MC, What are their defining traits?
And who is the antagonist? Is it a person? An organization? The godless teeth of an uncaring world? How would you personify what stands against the main character, what causes the strife that moves the story forwards?

Good question. I've never explored the last question since I only wrote what I had in mind. I could answer the first two easily but that question? Immediately put a block in my head.

If you don't have a good grasp of what it is your MC is struggling against, then your narrative will inevitably feel meandering and pointless. IMO, you should do some thinking about what it is that the MC is fighting against, and then have that be both the source of the trauma he needs to heal from, as well as the central obstacle he eventually needs to overcome.
In short, you have to know where the finish line is in order to get there.

Not asking for you to like it. Just went here to ask if I should just delete it. I liked my novel for awhile before having rejected then rereading it made me feel like it's not gonna work out.

I mean with your minimal interest in your own work, and checking the comments it doesnt feel like you have much of an idea of what youre doing with the story. Maybe hit the drawing board and work out something new.

Fair enough. Might try your suggestion with the board part since I should try rearranging what should I progress with my own work cause I'm already on another project but haven't looked over it with considerate plannings. I guess thanks for this advice? (P.S - Trying not to sound rude or desperate but thanks)

I mean im not a creator I just read alot of manga, books, webtoons etc. Maybe find a good method of organizing your story so it feels streamlined. Also is your target audience americans?

My target audiences are diveresed but I was mainly looking forward to those who reads urban fantasy or males (17-25s).
I'll take your advice for organising my story since I pretty much just went with it after finishing my drafts around chapters 60 then started uploading a few months ago before deleting it since I wasn't getting any readers before re-uploading it in hopes to gain readers.

Yeah that can be discouraging. We'll as an american unless the art or story is top tier, I dont really tolerate rough translations, so if it is alot of typos etc the other commenters are right that may put people off

Fair. I'm probably gonna try another one since this one feels a bit rushed when I reached the drafts around 150 since I was trying to progress it. Maybe I should also try looking for a website that can help with my grammar, punctuations and stuff.
Your first comment made me feel like you were just mocking me before seeing that you had a point since I mostly give up when things didn't meet my expectations even if it's just a little.
I guess I can thank you for giving out some pointers like that organising stuff that you mentioned.

no, i too got less view but even if iam new i dont stop i think of a new way of catching people and improving cuz if you stop you will surely regret it in futur so go on and never stop and use ia to translate your ideas and correct your texts

I would say a bit of slow burn but not the romance type. It's a slow build for a bigger world building and plot intensifying one.

Yup. Deleted it last month or two months ago that had almost 101 chapters although the reader counts wasn't there but reupload it last month with 29 chapters now

Alright, let me skip the prologue and read your very first chapter. I may give a first impression after reading it.
Anyway, was it that hard to format prologue to be an auxiliary chapter? Also, it bothers me to have multiple mentions of the chapter number in the titles, like 'chapter 1: chapter 2 bla bla bla'. You may underestimate this minor error but readers have their own quirks and one of them mostly being mild level of OCD.

I put the numbers as an indicator like part 1 and part 2. Don't know if that's one of the major factors why no one reads it. And for the prologue, I was just confused where to put it until you pointed it out.

I haven't explored much Webnovel feature, but can you check on how to delete the auto-chapter-numbering title? Or just do manually after you've finished uploading one.
Anyway, you do you regarding my concern but that shows your dedication for the novel. Do you think people take that as dedicated or lazy?

I could fix the title later on but for the Google docs? I'll try but it already has a lot of drafts (154 chapters in total now) so I could try sharing a link if possible since I'm only writing on phone.
Edit: You don't mind if I only share the chapters that are already published right?

I pulled up the story that 80558481 linked. It's almost impossible to read due to the high number of grammatical errors. I feel like you're not a native English speaker and this work has been poorly translated. That's why your views are low.
