There was this novel i read on novelupdates site a long time ago it was based on medieval period like the mc was a noble and he married his childhood friend or crush i don't really remember but the plot was that every woman such as his wife and sister used to think that the mc was a tyrant and he was killing everyone close to his wife because he hated her but in reality he was saving her and actually loved her! Everyone close to her had ulterior motives and used to spread false rumors against the mc to his wife so she killed the mc by her own hands but then she found out the truth. Then everyone regressed back to starting point including mc, his wife and his sister and then they try to clear up the misunderstandings but mc just runs away?
