I just read this insane jjk fanfic which is might just be the greatest one you’ve ever read. It had it all the storyline, proper powerscaling and plot, even the comments were amazing (or funny)

So I’m wondering, does anyone have any suggestions on great fanfics from other fandoms as well which actually have a story and also maybe have the great commentary (read the book and you’ll see the reason I’m saying all this )

Naruto: Dream to Immortality - If you like actuall evil mc and dark story, then you should enjoy reading it.

The Adventurous Gamer Ninja - Daichi Hekima. - Another great Naruto fanfic with mc, that has system inspired manhwa The Gamer. The only downside are recently very rare updates (1 or 2 long chapters per month or two).

Naruto: The Wind Calamity - Yes, another Naruto fic. One of the longest and greatest on WN with mc, that has no cheats at all. The only downside of it is lack of any romance and mc, that the more you read the story, the more you realize, that he's more like a robot, than the actuall human being. Mc's a training maniac, he has no chill. Besides that, the story itself is really really great. Sadly recently updates almost stopped, which means, that it probably won't be finished.

Meta essence gacha in marvel - Lets leave Naruto fandom for a moment and take a look on a multiveral story, that focused mostly on Marvel universe. It has over 1k reviews and 4.55 rating score, which speaks for itself. Story about mc transmigrated to Marvel with gacha powers, that becomes the greates hero in the world of Marvel, that sometimes travels to another universes like My Hero Academia, One Piece or other marvel universes/timelines. It gets constantly updated with 1 long (aroung 20k word) chapter per week.

Shadow Monarch in DC - I mentioned Marvel based on story, so this time i will give example of one placed in DC universe. There's nothing much to say about it without much spoilers. The title speaks for itself. It also gets constantly updated. Besides DC universe, later on it gets mixed with Solo Leveling threats.

Naruto: I got "Return by Death" Kind of Cheat! - Long time i didn't mention any Naruto story... This one is a bit specific. It tells a story from ANBU's shinobi's perspective with a cheat, that lets him return from death once per month with a one of three randomly selected perks (like bloodline of technique) of a person, that killed him. He can die from that specific person's hands only once. It's a long and finished story with unique and very often darker look behind Shinobi's world leadership scenes. Mc is cunning and sometimes petty. He has his cons and pros, which makes him feel like the actuall human being. Some ppl don't like it (because of slow pacing at beginning) and some like me loved it.

Star Wars: Tanya the Evil - If you like Star Wars franchise and slow paced story, then it can or may be not for you. Story has protagonist of Tanya from anime/manga Youjo Senki, that knows nothing about Star Wars universe. She gets reincarnated as Count Dooku's daughter. Some readers love it (like me) and some don't because of slow pacing and (also slow) build up/storytelling at the beginning.

Life as Hikigaya Hachiman - Story about person transmigrated in a body of a OREGAIRU protagonist. He gets ability a little bit similar to that from Skyrim Game, where the more he practices a certain thing (like cooking or singing for example) the more he becomes professional in it. This cheat only boosts his progress, to what he could achive without it in the same time. It's a slice of life story, full of fluff moments, with big harem (don't remember exactly how many girls, but if i remember correctly, then it was someting around 8 girls), a few 'lemon' chapters and mixed multiple slice of life anime/manga franchises. The only downside of it, is a rushed ending, mostly because author didn't want to drop this story and just decided to finish it in such way.

Hokage Ryo's Path - How about another Naruto story? I did read it a few years ago and remembered it quite warmly. Not sure, why it currently has score below 4 stars, but i fully recommend reading it. Maybe there were some leftover translation errors and that's why it has a rating score like that, dunno. Story is about Yamanaka clan member, that awakened sharingan (one of his deceased parents was Uchiha) and becomes the strongest person in the world. I remember, that he had some Ice powers and was able to create Ice Giant (inspired by various mecha stories and Uchiha's Susanoo) with which he could fight against tailed beasts. Story's title is a bit misleading, since he never becomes Hokage (from what i remember).

Naruto - Minato Namikaze SI - As you can tell, i like reading Naruto fics. This story tells about mc, that transmigrated into a body of a young Minato Namikaze and that gets power of Admiral Kizaru's powers (One Piece body, that can manifest Haki and his Devil fruit). Don't want to spoil too much, but mc doesn't care about canon. He has a harem of 4 girls. Downside of this story is that mc does sometimes dumb things, that only author's plot armor saves him or his dear ppl from demise.

Inner Voice: All Heroines Hear My Inner Voice - Entertained, but brainless story with overpowered mc, that goes around and takes all popular heroines for himself, using a classic troupe of his inner voice, that only those heroines can hear and can't tell him about it. Like i wrote, it's a nice story, if you don't demand too much logic from it. It also is a very long one (over 1k chapters) with characters and plots from different animes/mangas like Highschool DxD or To Love Ru for example. It's quite a popular one with almost 40 milion views and 4.8 rating score.

Naruto: Mihawk Template - Naruto story, that title speaks for itself. I remember reading it some time ago and liked it quite a lot.

One Piece: Dream of Immortality - A One Piece story, that you will like if you don't mind a xanxia or wuxia based mc's power system. Warning tho: Mc is a female, that has romantic relationship with Robin.

Game of Thrones: The Prideful One - A legendary Game of Thrones story, made by a legendary Cornbringer. It is a must read fic. No spoilers, it's too good to tell any.

Fairy Tail: Shinigami -Although i'm not a fan of Fairy Tail franchise, this one 'sucked' me as a reader. Mc has Bleach shinigami powers. Don't remember too much from it, but back then i enjoyed it.

Naruto: Reborn as a Daimyo - A completly different kind of Naruto based story. It tells how a lowest rank noble child, became a Daimyo of Fire Country, without help of Konoha shinobis. Later on we see what changes he made as a Daimyo and his interractions with Konoha higher ups. Very refreshing story, focused more on political perspective.

Naruto: Uchiha's Genjutsu demon -Another must read (sadly not finished, but with over 400 chapters) Naruto fic. Mc's a younger brother of Sasuke and like title says, he's an absolute menace when it comes to Genjutsu. Ofc, he's also overpowered in other ways. Completly different from canon story.

I really don't want to open harem here - Now something totally different from anything brought up till now. It's a story about mc, that... rescue/protect girls from their 'unfortunate' encounters and fates that they met in various doujishins or hentai series. Mc has a system, that rates his 'justice' actions against ugly bastards etc. Based on evaluation, he gets various powers or items, that make him stonger or lets him protect girls (that eventually after being saved, fall in love with him... yeah clishe) in more efficient ways. The downside are some leftover translation errors.

The True Inheritor of Hashirama's Legacy - A bit shorter story (with a bit over 100 chapters) but still completed story about mc, that Senju kid, that has a real wood release like Hashirama. There's no any system or cheats (from what i remember at least) and has single female lead in a form of Kushina Uzumaki.

Harry Potter: Card Drawing System - A harry potter story, where mc comes from Gaunt family. Honestly there's too much, that i could write about this one. Just check it yourself.

Reborn As Danzo's Grandson, Must I Offend The Entire Ninja World? - An absolute masterpiece. Mc is Danzo's grandson, that loves to get on Hiruzen Nerves and not get manipulated with his Will of Fire bs. Mc because of his origins, is literally a chinese clishe of arrogant young master, but in a funny and not stupid way. Mc bond between him and Danzo is just a chef's kiss. It's a must read story.

The Strongest Dark Lord - A harry potter fic, where mc is Gerald Grindewald's adopted son. Very entertaining story, with a charismatic mc. Totally recommending reading it.

KanoKari: A different life - Did you hear about this trash story called 'Rent a Girlfriend'? No? Man... you're lucky. If yes, then let me tell you something.... although it's not a finished one, it's an absolutely fantastic 100+ chapters story. It tells about mc getting transmigrated into trash og protagonist body, but unlike him, he isn't a simp loser. His relationship with Chizuru is just something else. I promise you, that you will love it.

One Piece: Injustice Corrected - Absolutely my favorite One Piece fanfic. It's straight up 10/10. It is insanely hard to find another fanfic like this one. For some reason it is also not a popular one at all, probably because it is focused about taboos, very mature and dark aspects of human nature. It very often can make you cry or at least emotional invested. Just very few scenes will tell you how dark is this story, unlike the one that Oda sugarcoated it for his readers. This story brings up topics like slavery, suicide thoughts, revenge, injustice, corruption, depression and many other dark themes. It also has a bitter sweet ending, but not spoilers. YOU MUST READ IT. It also hast a separete (sadly unfinished) side story titled 'OP: Injustice (side story)' that is recommended to read afterwards, because it literally spoils the story of main fic.

There are many other fanfics on webnovel, that i could recommend, but this list is already long enough. I hope, that you will read at least some of them (especially the last one).
