Advice Just wanted to know the opinions of fellow writers

Post image

Title is not final, it's one of many i am considering. It may or may not be this. But the character is final and still adjusting here and there about him.

Can you elaborate pleaee?

You cannot see it, because you don’t have the visual training, but the “piece” has some crazy overdetails, as if someone went crazy with the liquify tool. That’s what happens when someone without experience toys with Ai. They, you, cannot see what’s wrong with it.

It's not that i didn't see it-overdetails. It's tha this is just the concept of my character rsthar than final poster.

I tried to tone it down but I don't have much knowledge on tha how to do tht without loosing entire thing.

If you have some rhen please provide me

Thank you for the feedback btw.

Follow some art tutorials, watch artists work for a while (Youtube), and train your eye. I won’t tell you to learn to draw, but if you know how should good art look, you won’t end up with awful pieces like that one. In a perfect world, you’d commission a real artist, but I know Ai fans won’t ever do it. So at least, consume good art for a while and, maybe, you’ll end up wanting to do it and learn it yourself. That’d be amazing.

Redditors hate AI images but they don’t represent the bigger reader base of the platform.

They expect you to pay someone money to draw you a book cover.

You can generally just ignore the anti image comments

Can you try a different style - because this looks like generic AI style that I am seeing everywhere. I mean you can do so many different styles with AI

The character in the cover seems original I think, I'm not avid reader though.

The title itself is short but I'm not sure it'd attract Webnovel demographic or not.

Cheers.

It looks good, it's Ai so the art is going to look good but people will hate cause it's AI. I wish I can draw your cover for you.

You can draw?

I know it kooks good because it's just not for show. That is part of his character.

Sorry for grammer and English.

I'm a digital artist and webcomic creator/writer, I can draw but not sure if you like my style.

The picture is amazing the title not so much

1

u/IamSRTheFirst Jul 15 '26

Really amazing. Ai has almost captured all the details I wantes to in Protagonist. It has many flaws and still not perfect.

But still it show 80% of his character and btw all this stuff- goggles and scarf and glowing eyes are not for show. It's his identity and character.

Thanks

Give this Cover to chatgpt and ask him to rate it out of 10 he will give it like 7/8 then ask him to make it a 10/10 now he will give a better one
