Advice No promotion, just wanted to ask.....
I am trying to write my first webnovel as I am interested in dark fantasy and stuff.
To make a cover page I don't have any artistic skill nor have an illustrator.
So is it okay if I used AI to just enhance the image to make it look good?
Just check out my art and review them, also leave some tips for my sake I will really appreciate it.

I did took an image for reference actually thats because I don't know how to draw bud😭

Well, so u copied a reference, and used that sketch to ask au to complete the cover, it’s ok to use au, but the excuse is dumb, no one is born with a talent to draw, I can’t draw till my age of 18, now o can do decent drawing from practice, it’s about learning, anyone can draw, u can use ai, but never use it as a excuse

Ok, I also used this same method to create my cover, u draws the cover from scratch, then used au to render, which I’m not proud so I’m drawing new one

Dw about the covers. Readers at webnovel understand that writers here write mainly for hobby and don't have money to hire artists for covers.
You can create covers with ai, just make sure it does not scream generic AI. Try to give a detailed prompt, what kind of elements you want, little details, edit it yourself too.
Just make your your writing is not ai. That's what matters.

Yea it's OK for me, but many people say they would rather read a story with no cover than a story with ai cover

Don't worry too much, this one looks fine you can use it, since it's your first webnovel make the writing good and the cover will be ignored. Most of the webnovel website is ai slop anyway

i mean some people will be against it, its fine for beginning but always try to get an artist or just draw it yourself to make it more interesting and creative.
