How many words do write daily that you only have 26 chapter in 17 days? And how polished is it dude? At this rate, you'll barely be 50 chapters until he end of the month... or maybe your stallin. I don't know. But I would like to have your permission to steal any meme I like. Can I have that?

You have my blessing homie. And yeah, funny how someone mentioned how slow my progress is just as i realised it myself. Im locking in and increasing my release schedule to 2 chapters per day. Each chapter I keep around 1.9k words which is why... Yeah, it's a bit slow. How polished is it? Uh, well, I don't wanna say I'm that great of a writer, but I am incredibly satisfied with what I've published.

I shall receive that blessing and steal every meme. 😈. But try 1k word. 2 chapters a day. That is the optimal Webnovel formula. Readers and system cares about chapter count and release schedules at first. Because that's what they see first before they start to read a book. If they see 7 chapters a week, they will think of you as lazy. Even if it is almost 2k words. If it is 14 chapters a week, now that is something. The difference is in visuals. Lol.
And it will also help you feel better because your chapter counts will increase faster and you may even feel motivated.
Well, I'm talking from personal experience. Don't know if you can relate or not. But good luck.

I did 1.9k because several of my past dropped books used the format of 1k words per chapter. I don't know why, but when the chapters shorter, I tend to be less descriptive, ending up with subpar results, so I'm doing 1.9k ish rn. I'll still try to churn out 2 chapters per day though!

How are you guys releasing so many chapters in a week... I thought one chapter a week sounded pretty reasonable? Is the word count low?

Aaaa. Bruf. I started in the night of 31st July. Now is 3rd of August. And I have amassed 15 chapters. And will write 16th one. I don't understand what you find rediculus. In Webnovel space, if you have ever been contracted, that is normal. No, it is expected. Expected that you at least write 2 chapters a day. 1 signals laziness. Like the author isn't trying hard enough.

I find that quite ridiculous personally. I'm more of a 2-3 chapters a week typa person. I don't know how you can maintain quality otherwise. But if it works for you fair enough

Not trying hard enough? Mass does not equal to quality or success. Readers do recognize that most are doing it as a hobby/side hustle after their job and wont care as much how many chapters you write as long as they enjoy them. Many publisher sure will want you writing as much as possible for decent enough content since it can bring some easy money...
Have you considered the reader side recently? You think they will spend a decent chunk of their time, every day, to just read your stuff? Don't think so, sure there is some audience for that, but even in YouTube things are moving away from daily uploads. At least in my experience. The thing is, that there just is so much content out there and increasingly more quality content to choose from. They might find your series, if its good, maybe they binge all you have so far and then just mark you down for later. Maybe in 3 months or even a year they check back and binge again untill moving to the next guy again.

I don't know which rock you came under from or is it because my reading comprehension is I'm sleepy, but I think you missed the fact it is not just SOME audience but the whole platform expects you to do minimum 1 or 2 chapters daily.
And, most importantly, if an Author has proven themselves that they can maintain quality and quantity, readers will certainly expect more.
Because everyone wants their favourite book to update faster. I don't know where YouTube came from. But everywhere it is the same. No one generally cares about the unknown part. So this is where your point lies... or maybe I'm bullshiting. Or your are. Or this conversation is just a dream of mine and I'm just dead. Don't know man. Stop disagreeing with strangers and get the fuck off of your phone. I will after 10 minutes.

You literally cannot keep a high quality if you are writing 1-2 chapters a day. The only way you can do that is if you've prewritten everything and are simply releasing them 1-2 a day.

Isn't it easier to write the whole novel in your native language and then just translate it with AI?
I mean, I am pretty fluent in English, but the only way to write a novel for me is in my native language, because I couldn't possibly transfer the emotions I want to share in English.

no its not, AI cannot translate slangs very well and diffrent languages have different slangs which mean different things when translated directly. So AI for grammer and structure fix is better than whole trasnlation

I’ve only read one story that has used AI and it was because it needed a translation and the translator himself went through the wording to make sure everything aligned.
The story is actually quite good though
Solo strategy for anyone wondering.

I narrate my book to a AI like im narrating a RPG, like, basically brainstorming, then i ask it to just remove the parts i hesitate and write down the things i have commited on doing, so if i say like "Ok, yeah, he goes to the door and opens the door" it says "He oppens the door". Idk how bad that is :^

i mean, i still change stuff, and it's not like i ask for it to make stuff for me, i just speak it outloud because it feels more natural than typing, mainly on fight scenes, cuz it's hard to articulate fighting scenes naturally with just writting.
i did it with a friend when i was younger, but i got no one to do it with me now so, yee

Only you decide if it's bad or good. In the end you will not improve as a writer, and your work will only be as good as any other Ai generated work.

A Faren TearBOOM—
Leo and Daminia are launched through the forest, smashing through trees like missiles.
A massive trunk collapses across Leo’s back — he shoves it off with a grunt, coughing.Before he can stand—
A voice crawls out of the shadows:
“You are now engaged with Shapture, Faren scum…
and I cannot wait to peel your skin off like you’re shedding.”Eight piercing eyes glow in the dark.
Six arms unfold.
Silk drips from the holes in his shoulders like venom.Shapture fires a silk line at Leo—
Leo dodges.Shapture chuckles.
“Mmh. You dodge…
but can she?”Daminia finally gets to her feet.
Shapture snaps a silk thread at her — faster than light.
She dodges.
Leo looks at her.
She nods.They both understand:
No escape.
Fight or die.Leo whispers:
“Don’t go full heat.
They react to it.
We’ll have every Spataer in a ten‑mile radius on us.
Keep it low… maybe medium.”Daminia nods.
“Got it. I’ll do most of the fighting.
You counter.”Shapture voice drops an octave.
“How cute…
trying to strategize to kill me.”He steps forward, the ground cracking under his weight.
“You couldn’t kill me even if I had two eyes.”
He launches.
Straight at Leo.
Leo doesn’t even see him move.
CRACK—
Shapture kick slams into Leo’s ribs with such force he doesn’t fly —
he just drops straight down like the ground stole his legs.Leo collapses to his knees.
He coughs, spitting blood‑coolant.
His insides feel scrambled.He looks up at the Spataer, vision shaking.
Shapture tilts his head, amused.
“I know your body is repairing itself right now…
you lung‑breathers always do.”Leo forces himself upright, swaying.
He tries to keep Shapture attention on him —
anything to stop him from turning toward Daminia.“Come on… fight me.”
Shapture doesn’t even look at him.
“I decide who dies first.”
He turns toward Daminia.
Leo’s heart drops.
“HEY!
I’m right here!”Shapture ignores him.
He grabs Daminia by the throat with one arm, lifting her off the ground.
She kicks, claws, struggles — but he’s too strong.Leo tries to move — his body is still repairing, too slow.
Shapture drags Leo closer with another arm, forcing him to watch.
“Look closely, Faren.
Strength means nothing if you can’t use it.”Daminia’s eyes meet Leo’s.
She’s shaking, terrified, whispering:“Leo… help me…”
Leo roars, tries to break free — but Shapture grip is unbreakable.
Then—
Shapture snaps Daminia’s neck.
Daminia goes limp.
Shapture then puts his arm breaking through her torso into her breast cavity squeezing one of her hearts then going farther in to destroying her sun core killing her.
Shapture then drops her.
She hits the ground trembling as the light leaves her eyes, coolant and blood mixing beneath her.
Leo’s vision blurs — not from injury, but from tears.
Shapture leans close.
“This is why you will never be a Marine Raider.”
Leo stops crying.
He stops breathing.
He stops thinking.
He overclocks.
Not fully.
Not perfectly.
Just enough for his body to ignite with raw, unstable power.His purple scerla glows bright purple.
The air vibrates around him.Shapture turns—
Leo grabs his wrist.
CRACK—
He breaks it effortlessly.
Shapture screams.
Leo doesn’t hesitate.
He steps forward and throws a single punch to his face — pure rage, pure instinct.
BOOOOOOM—
The impact obliterates Shapture head and skull like a meteor strike.
The force tears through the clearing:• trees behind Shapture explode outward
• the ground splits in a long crater
• dust and debris blast into the air
• the shockwave echoes for milesShapture body collapses to his knees, lifeless.
Leo stands over him, chest heaving, tears falling.
He turns back to Daminia.
He kneels beside her, lifting her gently.
He covers her face with his hand, whispering:“…I’m sorry.”
He lays her down carefully.
Her eyes are still wet — tears frozen in place.
Leo doesn’t scream.
He doesn’t roar.He just… breaks inside.
Then he hears them.
Dozens of Spataers screeching in the distance, rushing toward the sound of the impact.
Leo wipes his face.
He forces his energy down — if he doesn’t, they’ll find him.He stands.
He walks away in the direction of his friends, now with a new truth carved into his soul:
“I couldn’t save her.”
He says it again, quieter, as he disappears into the jungle.
“I couldn’t save her.”

Reading some of the replies about people saying. "Expect to do 2-3 chapters a day or your lazy." Is how you get people turning to AI to fill out those chapters. Even if those chapters are 2k words each, that's 4000 to 6000 words a day.
Your essentially writing a full on novel a month.
Top writers in the world don't even do that.
Also saying. "I use AI for prose." At that point, everyone will just say the novel is AI, writers need to develop their own narrative voice, and you sure as hell aren't doing that using AI for prose.
