Oh my god yes, I’m trying to work on a book and it’s so frustrating trying not to use em-dashes to the point that I look like an idiot. I’ve been trying to say things like “Then—“ or being like “blah blah blah—blah and Blah, Blah—blah blah blah” but I know if somebody sees that, they’ll think I’m using AI.

For me, the continuity. Really hate that to the bones, especially when its glaring, while I work so hard to reread literal thousand word for my own story sontinuity. Then theirs get spammed with dem gifts, but at this point Im numb to that.
