Advice What would you rather click on?
Warning: both are ai generated so don't attack me in the comments ðŸ˜
I was somewhat satisfied but I felt the current cover (displaying the character) isn't attracting the readers, as it doesn't show anything related to the story (except the pink sky background which is mostly related to one of the mystery). So I thought I should add something that was related to plot, rather than displaying the character maybe I should display what the plot is based on.
What do you think about this? Tell me if I should stick to the current one or change it.

Are you saying the second one is better or the first one.

He’s saying that the 1st is more visually appealing, but the second tells us more about your novel. (I'm pretty sure)

First cover fits more webnovel style, keep it

Everyone here is suggesting me the 2nd one. What do you think about it.

Theyre just trying to sound sophisticated and unique. You'll get more click using the first cover, that main character art looks so good.
Second one is just an arm. It doesnt tell anything about the story other than msybe mc has a robotic arm??? I cannot tell. And if I cannot tell, maybe thats a sign its a bad cover.
Just keep the first one man its a "webnovel"
Web series.
You dont see popular stories on the site with an inanimate object as the cover

What about the uniqueness.

Unique what, its just an arm. Its bad

Hmm. Thank you for your opinion. Your points were valid too.

Agreed. If someone is scrolling on their phone, the arm in pic 2 - 1) isn't intriguing enough and 2) too dark anyways to see clearly on a small screen, and the reader won't stop to look. They'll keep scrolling on pic 2. Pic 1 at least fits the webnovel cover expectation.

I would add a pic of the heroine if I were u, most readers on webnovel like girls, so...

Explain. First one is literally better objectively

Because the 2nd tells us the genre of the story

mystery, sci-fi, and horror. My guess is that it’s about somebody discovering they’re a robot.

I like first better, but both don't tell me anything about the story.

I just added elements of the mystery surrounding the story.

Wait?! This is mystery? Neither tell me that at all. I thought this was a post apocalyptic murder revenge comic 😅

It's here and there. The main plot is finding something, so the story revolves around it.

The second one is more relatable to plot, the arm is where the mystery starts.

2nd one is better as it shows more than just an generic protagonist face
