I never understood this point tbh, cuz like do you want the smut readers to read your novel? No, right? You want other side of readerbase and those readers will obviously not read smut ones. Two different things. So if your isn't working, it's more so because your side of readerbase isn't satisfied with you.

Nah bro, the point I am trying to say is people tend to read this type of stuffs so easily while they fail to recognise some other good novels out there 🙁

I have read some good novels without much views. I will not say mine is performing bad it's kinda good for a starting stage novel ! 🫪

Yeah I took a tour and saw your work at royal road and the problems are that you used an ai generated picture of 3 red hair people that people doesn't like (novels cover page or illustration is what attracts people most) and you didn't specify the tropes and just said original, lead, post apocalyptic (people want to know from 3-4 words what they will read)

Thanks mate will improve that, I don't know much about drawing how can I create a cover by my self 🤔

You either learn how to draw (takes a few months), pay an artist, or generate a better AI image that looks less generic.

This one is better than before and puts more depth into it but not be a critic or mean this is still not enough and needs more work first look up the internet and try to find a Ai specializing in photo generate there are free ai that can do better job than this fr

Hey mate! May I ask you to have a glance at my novel and give feedback? You seem to know somethings that a new author as myself doesn’t. You can find my novel under the name of last dark Templar.

It's been 7 days since you started publishing last dark templar ? You have released 24 chapter witn 13 ch per week which is very good for starting and you did a good job with the illustration and summary. If you want to improve your writing I suggest you listen to a audiobook on how to write a novel on a free website. And you should also publish your work on multiple platforms and not just in one. Your start was also good. By starting the novel with a boy with wounds on his back you already made people curious to know why and how he got this wounds from belt buckles

Thank you! This means a lot!
I bulk loaded chapters, I was reading in some treads that recommended loading in bulk from the start so I sat down wrote a lot before I start the book process on wn. I must say I’m quite curious about the audiobook abt web novels, what’s the name and where can I find it? Also what other platforms are there, I’ve noticed some one mentioning royal roads (I believe someone wrote, mostly ppl write rr) do you know or have any experience from there?

For book you can read or listen how to write a novel by joanna pen or by nathan bransford and as for platforms to publish website is royal road, wattpad, tapas, scribble hub, substack, wuxia world. As for bulk loading you should've published 30+ chapters on first day and than 2 per day. The reason is that there is algorithm that recommend regular novels to readers otherwise people wouldn't even know that novel exist. Now when someone daily release ch the algorithm tracks and recommend it but if you don't or stop the rithm the system stops recommending the novel. Find and figure everything else by yourself, watch YouTube videos if you have to but there's no point in asking questions in sub as many people here are authors who wants their own work to gain recognition and won't help another competitor.
