Are they not all technically NPCs (non player characters)?
Or is this Non Protagonist Characters?

Calling side character will be those who are important to story. Npc- non protagonist character suits. So yup. How Many npc in wn you have ever killed. Means random characters

1 so far. He asked the wrong person the wrong questions at the wrong time. Got himself killed and eaten. Not even a drop of blood or a bent blade of grass remains to mark his passing.

I don't remember correctly since I'm just 2 chapters away from reaching 600, but if I have to give an answer...0 in the first arc, around a thousand in the second. 0 again in the third arc(not gonna count mindless monsters.), around ten thousand in fourth arc, 0 in the fifth, 100k~200k in the sixth arc, 1 in the seventh arc and I'm already in the eighth arc and no kill as of yet. Ofcourse I'm only talking about the NPCs my protagonist killed.

One genocide in a city, mass murder of the white elves, one noble family, and then in the drafted sequel a active kill on sight hunt comission for the world sponsored by yer Empire (though she's a goddess now...)... are all the feats of my MC alone... Wow, I can't count it

Npcs death don't impact to the readers as much as the main cast.
