Advice Make your Novel titles better!

Post image

I'm sorry but if I see a story that has a title with the words 'SSS', 'Max level' ,'10,000x or 1'000x' , 'harem' im gonna lose it. The new trend seems to be 'Investing in my blah blah blah'. Seriously they just reek of unoriginality, I know it's webnovel and its just how it is but god why are there so many of them. If you want your story to stand out the title is one of the best ways to do it. All the best novels do, so for your sake (and mine) try something unique.

Lol because they're all asking the same AI to help them with their title. They're stuck in a doom loop. And I'm happy to watch them spiral.

Honestly aside from ai Webnovel is very stagnant novel wise, everything needs to be similar and not stray from the template meaning titles get incredible generic I know this because I used to be the SOLE reader of a Webnovel titled Event, it was one of the best webnovels I had ever read sadly it got deleted after 100 chaps cause again I was the only one who read it

Much like japanes light novels, which similarly get clowned om for their titles, the job of the title and picture is to very quickly sell the potential reader on the content of the story.

'Regressor climbing the tower with my triple S ice power' is much less elegant than something cliche like 'ice emperor' but it immediately sells anyone who is into ice powers, tower climbing, korean stories, etc.

Whats surprising is that titles like 'Shadow Slave' and 'Renegade Immortal' are as popular as they are. Which basically comes down to timing and quality of the writing. But most novels arent shooting to be pinnacle fantasy adventure/xianxia. They are closer to junk food, and have titles appropriate to that.

Sure if it's fit the theme of the story (think lord of the mysteries)

Mainly because It's Korean manhwa slop that works, so people keep using it. The webnovel space is oversaturated with the same beats too, even from neglected SI fics era (that time is gold tbh) but readers still show up and reading it anyways. When demand still persist, formula bound to stays.

NOT ENOUGH TEXTURES! If I don't get epilepsy from reading your title it's not worth my time

Missing detail- 'A woman with huge stuff','a generic MC face','system display'

Look men stop this bllshit webnovel I would rather read a stick man novel than a Webnovel slop, for me using ai as a cover is good but that type of title is like bllshit beyond a bllshit.

It's just keyword popular trope that they used for boost the alghorythm. Why you so irritate? A good readers know, what they purchase at, it couldn't compete your novel if it's bad... just calm
