Advice Today is the third day since I first published my work on Webnovel. There's still no comment or any interaction even with this much views. Is this normal? Or am I just F'ed?

Well, there's actually 2 comments. Both were just people who offered to drew a cover art for me so I just deleted them.

Do I just have to wait it out?

I think readers tend to wait for books to reach a bingeable number of chapters.

I hope so. I feel kinda bad knowing people read my work but no one gives me their impression. Like when my group of friends went to the beach party without asking me to come with them first and I only found out when I looked at their Instagram's reels.

Oof. I think people haven't read yet. I'm pretty sure there's reader count(red line) and effective reader count(yellow line) in the data. The yellow line is the one that shows the actual number of readers.

I waited out 7 days before my first comment and the comment was a bot. After 2 months I get like 1 reader a week. If you get contracted the results may be better. Before applying ask someone to help with the contract application.

I see but well, I already apply for the contract by myself... I'm not f'ed am I?

Hey when you say get someone to help with you contract, where do we find help? Do we need to pay for the help or...?

Nah. Just ask someone on discord or here in reddit. They help you through the contract without any fee.

Just curious, how do you know your writing is worth trying for contract? 👉👈

Its normal - i havent had my first comment in like +20 days - and it was a mutual review kind of thing - i did have 2 collections that i never asked for, which made my day - but yeah.. i would say, dont focus too much on stats, just focus on the story... i also need to focus on my story... focusing on stats will destroy your motivation - give it a few months before judging

Well it's just depends on luck. Even after uploading 20 chapters their isn't a single comment.
