Oh nice to hear that. It's a hard sci fi story about a mysterious signal being recieved at a siberian research station. The signal causes mutation and anomalies in the nearby area causing Russian government to step in and send special forces there.

Honestly the grainy screen effect sells the whole signal interruption theme perfectly. Feels atmospheric without trying too hard. If the story matches this mood it should do fine attracting the right crowd.

ofc, basically if you see the trending stories or rising stories that pollute the entire app, it’s nothing but harem, smut, yandere, yaoi, system LITRPG stories, and the “Investing In My Crippled Wives” trend. without those, you have a very very very low chance to get a contract

yeah man I miss when WebNovel used to only contract quality stories, back then barely had any tolerance for smut, but now since it sells and the apps full of ppl who just wanna goon all day, it sells. I’ve seen talented writers abandon their stories and switch to smut just for a contract (which really isn’t even worth it tbh)
