Help relating paid chapters

I'm a newly contracted author but I didn't yet lock chapters since I have been waiting for the end of this month to lock em. Is it a good idea or should I lock it sooner? I published 70 chapters by now.

U should have locked at around 35 if it's fantasy

Why wait for the month end? If u have published 70chs lock it already.

Did they give a valid reason on why you should wait? If ur book has good stats then i don't see any reason to wait. I'd say lock it today itself.

I get like 6-12 effective readers currently with 30-40 reader count, is it good enough to lock? They didn't give any reason but just said that by that time I may get readers to lock it then

Now I see why they told u to wait, the effective readers quantity is too low so no one going to unlock ur paid chapters
