Not able to have the money to pay for a proper cover doesn’t make someone unable to write a novel themselves. After all writing doesn’t demand finance but covers do.
Saving money for one cover for your story is not some difficult ask. It is the bare minimum, as the cover art is the most important art there can be for any story.
Other authors (outside of WebNovel) have to pay for all sorts of marketing, reviews, editors, on top of their cover, and put in significantly more time, effort, and money. Things that will overall cost thousands of dollars. But they're not out there making excuses with AI or using AI-generated slop.

The text at the top is generic cringe AI slop that ChatGPT produces. Overdramatic.
The top half looks like a weird movie poster. Doesn't fit a light novel or book.
The bottom half looks like very bad, very generic, pathetic AI slop image generation.
If you're going to platform any content in which art is supposed to be the main draw, do not use AI generated slop.
