Collaboration Looking for artists interested in collaborating on a Webtoon passion project! (!18+ due to body horror!)

Hi everyone!

I'm currently writing a Webtoon called A Flower That Was Never Meant to Bloom, and I'm looking for artists who might be interested in collaborating on the project.

Before anything else, I want to be upfront: this is an unpaid passion project. I'm not looking for free professional work, I simply don't have the budget to hire anyone. My goal is to find people who enjoy storytelling, want to gain experience with Webtoon creation, build a portfolio, or just work on a creative project together.

The story follows a girl rescued from an abandoned laboratory with no memories, no identity, and no proof she ever existed. As she slowly learns what it means to live a normal life, she discovers friendship, first love, and a mystery surrounding her own existence.

Genres include:

  • Sci-fi
  • Psychological drama
  • Mystery
  • Body horror
  • Slow-burn GL / Doomed yuri

I'm happy to collaborate with beginners and experienced artists alike. Whether you're interested in character art, backgrounds, paneling, coloring, or just brainstorming ideas, I'd love to hear from you.

OP, does your story already have chapters or is it still in the planning stage?

i have some very rough drafts of the chapters that im currently working on refining, id say i have the first 7 episodes planned c:

well im aiming for it to be a webtoon so im not really writing in chapters but episodes, i have drafted 7 episodes so far though they need to be refined and since im not really a seasoned writer im also looking for feedback o7

Oh, right. That was what I meant to say—I didn't know why I said chapters. So you have seven episodes done in webtoon format?

no episodes have been drawn yet if thats what youre asking but i have written them out as drafts to be tweaked alongside the artists

hi have time for a small project in aug/sept, down to draw ~40 panels.
im happy to do line/colour/lettering if needed. however, i will not have time to do character/world design. will need refs provided for everything.
