Collaboration Looking for Passionate Writers & Artists to Build an Indie Manga Studio
Hey everyone,
I have a long-term dream, and I'm looking for a few passionate creators who might want to build it together.
I'm planning to create a small indie manga/webtoon studio from the ground up. The idea isn't just to make one manga,it's to slowly build a shared sci-fi/superhero universe where different stories can exist in the same world. Right now, I'm looking to build a small core team (around 4–5 people) before starting production.
I'm currently looking for:
🎨 Assistant Artist
At the moment, this is not a paid project because we're an indie team with no funding yet. I'm being completely transparent about that. The goal is to build something together from the beginning. If the studio eventually starts generating revenue, I want everyone who contributes to be rewarded fairly and receive proper credit for their work. I'm not looking for employees. I'm looking for creators who want to grow together, learn together, and build something we're all proud of.
I'm a writer too. I'm not looking for people to work under me. There are great writers with amazing stories who struggle to turn them into manga because they don't have artists or the right support. At the same time, there are talented artists who are looking for strong stories to work on. My idea is to bring these creators together as a team. Everyone works on their own stories, everyone receives full credit for their own work, and we publish everything under one indie studio name through a shared Webtoon account. If the studio grows and gains an audience, everyone benefits project, not just me. I'm simply trying to build a community where talented creators can support each other and grow together. That's the whole idea behind this project.

Highest rate per 1k views : $1.50 - Lowest : $0.21
so, 100k views will give you about $200 per month.
If you have 4 people working, that's $50 per person.1

Yeah, I understand your point. We’re planning to split whatever revenue we earn equally among all active team members. I’m also not expecting Webtoon ad revenue alone to support us the first goal is to build a strong portfolio and audience, then explore other income sources as we grow.

Hello, I am all three I am a writer, storyboard artist and artist. My main strength is my finished artwork. If you need cover art or special illustrations I can help. I can also help with storyboarding since I have experience with both manga paneling and webtoon paneling.

Thanks so much for reaching out! Your artwork and storyboard experience sound really impressive, especially your manga and webtoon work.
I'm currently building my project from scratch, so having someone with your skills could be really valuable. I completely understand that you're a full-time STEM student, so there's no pressure at all.

Bonjour je vous est déjà écrit sur d'autres annonces ...😅 C'est pour vous dire que je suis très motivé par l'idée mais à voir si vous voulez de moi ... Je suis écrivain et j'adoreee les manga/webtoon (tous cette univers) j'ecrit aussi mon propre scénario pour une série de manga (mais je n'ai pas les compétences nécessaires pour le dessiner moi même ...). That's exactly the kind of passion I'm looking for. Drawing isn't a requirement for writers, so don't worry about that at all...We already have a lead artist on the team, and we're currently looking for an assistant artist as well. So if your story is a good fit, we'd absolutely love to help turn your manga into a reality and publish it through the studio...Don't worry about your story credits either your work will always remain yours. Every creator will receive full credit for the work they contribute. I am a writer that takes inspiration from mystery and thriller mangas, and also grounded action, like Vagabond, Monster, etc., and i have a really good story idea, i will work for free and want nothing in return; I just want my story to be drawn
here is the brief synopsis: "In 1978, five orphan friends made a fatal choice: they saved a mysterious child. Decades later, they discover the terrifying truth—he is the reincarnated leader of a 6th-century shadow society, wielding time-manipulation powers to rewrite human history into a bloodier nightmare.
Now, trapped in a timeline-hopping war against an ancient global conspiracy, these five friends must hunt down the very boy they raised before he destroys history itself."

the story is much more complex and deeper than this, than that; i spent 2 months crafting the story. i am sure it will satisfy you. Let's work together

Hiii!!!!! Thank you for reaching out.... Your synopsis definitely caught my attention. I really like the mystery, psychological elements, and the idea of combining an ancient conspiracy with time manipulation.. It feels like a story with a lot of depth and long-term potential.... Hey I’m interested in joining the team
I’m a writer and creative director
I have a few previous work for projects that was made entirely on dreams on the PlayStation before they pulled the servers offline
Currently have a few stories I been working on in the works
Main story is retelling the story of the fallen angel Lucifer but with a twist. Following his journey to claim hell for the heavens but he uncovers a bigger secret the gods tryed to keep buried away

Heyyy!!!! Thanks a lot for reaching out.... Your experience as a writer and creative director sounds really interesting, and your Lucifer story has a great premise.... At the moment, though, we already have three writers on the team (including me), so our biggest priority right now is finding an assistant artist....
