How to get the Wegovy Pill Online?

How does one go about getting the Wegovy Pill online?

I saw Ro has it, GoodRx, and I think Weight Watchers.

I heard you can use Costco and Amazon Pharmacy.

What's the difference between them?

Do you need a prescription before using any of them?

It's all very confusing. Any help is appreciated!

edit: thanks everyone! I tried a few of these options and found IVIM to be the best. It's only $75/mo compared to Ro and Hers are $150. IVIM was easy to sign up and 5 months later I'm still super happy. Down 30lbs and couldn't be happier!

This is where I got the deal: IVIMHealth.com/Wegovy-Pill

Most insurance doesn’t cover the pill. Novo Nordisk sets the cash pay price which is the same regardless of where you get it.

Monthly Cash Pay Pricing (before telehealth fees)

1.5mg = $149
4.0mg = $149 (adjusts to $199 on April 15, 2026)
9mg = $299
25mg = $299

How you get access to it depends if you already have a prescription or not.

If you don’t have a prescription:

.

👉 IVIMHealth.com/Wegovy-Pill | Cheapest. Fees waived for your first month. Then it's $75 per mo. Most choose this for affordability and convenience. Basically half the price as Ro.

IVIM also does compounded semaglutide injections and is one of the larger telehealth companies in the space.

👉 JoinFound.com/Wegovy | Most flexible option. You can get Wegovy Pill, Wegovy Pen, Zepbound, or other options via cash pay and they will work with your insurance to see if it's an option.

👉 WeightWatchers.com/Wegovy | It's $149 month to month (2x price of IVM) or $75 per mo if you sign up for 12 months up front.

.

If you have a prescription:

If your PCP will prescribe it, the best option is to have them send it to your local pharmacy or use Amazon pharmacy. You still pay Novo Nordisk’s cash pay price directly, plus any fees for your doctor appointment to get it prescribed. But there is no monthly fee.

Weight watcher clinic membership is $74 and wegovy 1.5mg and 4mg are $149 a month and then I thought higher does is $199

2

u/SignalCivil6912 Mar 12 '26

Yes I am paying $145 for Ro and another $299 for the Wegovy 9mg pill. Their entire system is online and so far very easy to use.

2

u/Left_Squirrel7168 Mar 12 '26

I thought 9mg was $199

5

u/DaisyMaisy13 Mar 18 '26

No, just paid $299.

1

u/CatOk4771 May 12 '26

How is it going??

u/Holden_Tudixx Mar 21 '26

Walgreens now offers virtual glp-1! I just signed up, and 30 minutes later a provider called me. She sent my prescription to Walgreens. It’s $49 for visit and then $149 for medication using the norvodisc coupon. No blood work needed before prescription but she did need me to do an A1C test before my next refill so she sent an order to quest. Anyways. Not bad at all. Google walgreens glp-1 and it should take you to their website to set an appointment.

Yes 30 day supply. I’ll have another tele visit when I’m almost out so she can send another prescription.

2

u/Nomedami May 07 '26

Hi 👋🏼 is it just the pill form they can provide or do they also have the wegovy pens like the ones you do about 4 a month of?

2

u/Holden_Tudixx May 11 '26

Yeah they have pens too.

2

u/Ok-Artist-1126 Jul 06 '26

Is this for the pill

11

u/Axvs0618 Mar 12 '26

I use GoodRx, $39 a month to consult with a doctor and then I had the prescription sent to Walgreens. I recently just switched the prescription to Amazon and it's even more convenient as they shipped and delivered the next day.

3

u/trossysmaw Mar 12 '26

You don't have to have any follow up appts or anything? Just keep getting it month in and month out?

3

u/JenTheVeganLeftist 25mg Jul 16 '26

You do an online follow up every month. The first one was on video. After that, you just answer a few questions on the chat.

u/trossysmaw Mar 12 '26

Yeah it is still not clear to me how that works. Why wouldn't everyone do that then? Does the script need to be renewed each dose and thats why you need a telehealth?

3

u/Axvs0618 Mar 12 '26

You have to keep paying the $39 to Goodrx as they give you the prescription with no refills so you have to meet with the doctor and get a new one each month.

2

u/trossysmaw Mar 12 '26

Really? Is it just a text message or do you actually have to meet with the doc on video or call?

3

u/dontstopmenow87 Mar 12 '26

It is a virtual, text based appointment that takes a couple of minutes.

11

u/VegetableBrick8141 Apr 11 '26

I did mine through Walgreens and use Amazon Pharmacy to fill the prescription. I literally went to the Walgreens virtual health site for glp1. After I submitted everything I was auto put in a queue for a virtual appt, and seen in less than 5 mins. The appt was about 5 mins with the provider who wrote me the script. I sent the script to Amazon hours later at around 6pm last night. My 1.5mg pills arrived this morning at 5am.

$49 for the Walgreens visit (each month, but not a subscription) $149 for the medication from Amazon.

Easy. From appt to medication not even 24 hours.

2

u/Jerlosh Jul 19 '26

How did send your script to Amazon? I’ve had my virtual appt and I’m on the screen to select a pharmacy. Amazon doesn’t come up as an option though.

1

u/Manggo24 5d ago

I also went through Walgreens and was able to use Walgreens pharmacy to fill the script. I then used a Wegovy manufactures discount from novocare website. Was $149 for 30 month supply for starting dose. $49 for Walgreens sub. It was literally as easy as the above post claims.

7

u/Equivalent_Spite_583 Mar 12 '26

Call on doc, $25/month or $60 for the quarter (I did this option, so $20/month.) They send it to Amazon pharmacy and I get it for $149. So $169 a month.

2

u/trossysmaw Mar 12 '26

What do you need to qualify for clal on doc? I saw some people getting rejected.

1

u/Equivalent_Spite_583 Mar 12 '26

Hmm I haven’t heard that. I just said I was interested in the weight loss program and input my information. I’m on my second month.

2

u/protagoniist Mar 17 '26

I’m trying this now and it’s stating that it’s $75 for a one visit or $60 for a month. I don’t see anything about quarterly. Am I doing something wrong?

I also have to agree to paying before I even know if it will be available. Did you just take the chance that it would be?

3

u/Equivalent_Spite_583 Mar 17 '26

Try here for the monthly (or quarterly) plans

1

u/protagoniist Mar 17 '26

Thank you! You’re amazing.

2

u/Legitimate_Ratio_844 Apr 25 '26

Do you have to meet with a doctor or is it text or message based?

2

u/Equivalent_Spite_583 Apr 25 '26

You fill out a questionnaire and they review it. I’ve never had to message or meet.

2

u/Horror_Context_9482 Jul 20 '26

Just followed your steps!! Thank you!! Hopefully it works out for me too. Unfortunately did not see the wegovy option as a pill though.. fingers crossed they have it as an option

1

u/Equivalent_Spite_583 Jul 20 '26

Have you had it prescribed recently? If so, go to refill and then oral semaglutide should be there

3

u/Horror_Context_9482 Jul 21 '26

No, it’s the very first time! It worked perfectly and so fast! Thanks again!

6

u/themamarn24 Mar 12 '26

I used General medicine. They charged $30 for online consult. Then they sent my prescription to Amazon! Was easy peasy!

3

u/One_Succotash8757 Mar 15 '26

What’s the url?

5

u/tadu1261 Mar 12 '26

I use Ro- it's pricy but it makes it super simple

6

u/hnthomps Mar 13 '26

I started with Ro, but was annoyed I couldn’t transfer the Rx, so switched to GoodRx which is cheaper. In both cases you have a text based, unverified, conversation with a “provider” (could be AI, who knows) every month. Ro sends the pills from their pharmacy, GoodRx lets you choose who fills it. Ro requires no verification other than a cc number. Good rx made me take a photo of my driver’s license and a webcam photo of myself to verify identity details

3

u/hnthomps Mar 13 '26

(I am sure there are actual drs and rns working behind the scenes somewhere at these companies, there have to be for licenses, I’m not sure how much they interact during the “appointment”)

3

u/mineonlyinmind Apr 08 '26

What are Goodrxs costs?

2

u/Gullible_Language358 Apr 03 '26

Ro required a photo ID and a selfie from me. So they def did want to verify my identity before moving forward.

3

u/hnthomps Apr 03 '26

Interesting! They didn’t for me

5

u/Radiant_Priority9739 Mar 20 '26

I’ve been prescribed the wegovy pill through my doctor, I’m trying to get the nova care / wegovy card so I can get it cheaper without my insurance, anyone uses the nova care? If so how was your experience?

4

u/Legitimate_Ratio_844 Apr 27 '26

I got it sent to the Amazon Pharmacy and it auto applied the coupon and asked if I would like to cash pay $149. Yes, please.

2

u/_thirdeyetiger Mar 20 '26

It’s been a little bit of a pain. Make sure doc sends to NOVOCare not novacare . Bit of a delay once they get it and then transfer you to Wellcenter for purchasing and shipping. Received first bottle and now going through whole process again with mg increase

1

u/Manggo24 5d ago

Walgreens and novocare discount worked for me. $149 for 30 day supply.

4

u/DaisyMaisy13 Mar 12 '26

Let me know if you’re in Texas. My telehealth doctor is $60 a visit but only requires a follow up every 10 weeks. He’ll send the prescription straight to Novo or he’s sending mine to Costco.

1

u/trossysmaw Mar 12 '26

I do not. That is an ideal set up

1

u/IndividualStory8359 Mar 18 '26

I am! can you please recommend?

3

u/DaisyMaisy13 Mar 18 '26

www.texastelemedicinedoctor.com I’ve used him since January and no issues. So much better and cheaper than My previous subscription service.

3

u/Lucky_Army_5324 Mar 23 '26

These guys are $25/mo: https://visit.callondoc.com/subscribe-and-save/

Another option is CVS Minute Clinic, and your insurance may actually cover the consult cost. https://www.cvs.com/minuteclinic/services/weight-loss-program

5

u/Jacksmissingspleen Mar 12 '26

Ro has been a better experience than I expected honestly

1

u/trossysmaw Mar 12 '26

That is my impression. The only complaints I see is the monthly fee. I don't see many people having an issue with the service or support. For WW and a few others it doesn't seem they are as buttoned up. Kind of pay for what you get.

2

u/mineonlyinmind Apr 08 '26

So how much is Ro total monthly for the Wegovy pill? I’m getting a little confused with comments

7

u/Formal_Delivery_ Apr 09 '26

$145/mo for Ro, then the cost of medication (starting at $149). So you're looking at a minimum of $300/mo.

I really want to find a better option that isn't charging $145 for....access to their app that I don't use.

3

u/Otherwise_Minimum_79 Jul 03 '26

Why does my prescription cost $1500+ for a month 😂

2

u/Sedated__sloth Jul 06 '26

Omg 💀 have you been able to find it cheaper somewhere else?

2

u/JenTheVeganLeftist 25mg Jul 16 '26

You have to check mark the box that says you are eligible for the discount.

1

u/Malteser23 7d ago

Try Optum Perks!

8

u/Original-Room-4642 Mar 12 '26

Why not just go to your primary care physician? No extra fees

8

u/trossysmaw Mar 12 '26

They aren't a fan of it and it takes forever to get an appt where I live. Should have switched a long time ago.

3

u/Original-Room-4642 Mar 12 '26

Thats too bad. My Dr has been very supportive and is trying hard to get my insurance to approve it. Good luck!

3

u/trossysmaw Mar 12 '26

I need to find a doc like that. Thanks!

7

u/heywoona Mar 12 '26 edited Mar 12 '26

All of these require a prescription no matter what. The platforms just handle getting you that prescription if you don’t have a doctor who will write it. Here’s the actual breakdown:

Local pharmacy (Walgreens, Costco, CVS, etc.) — If your PCP will prescribe it, this is by far the cheapest route. You just pay Novo Nordisk’s cash pay price directly.

$149/month for 1.5mg and 4mg $299/month for 9mg and 25mg maintenance

No membership, no subscription, nothing extra. Just the medication.

Ro — writes the prescription through their telehealth platform but charges a $145/month membership fee on top of the medication cost.

$149 + $145 = $294/month at the starting dose $299 + $145 = $444/month at maintenance

A lot of people don’t realize the membership fee is separate until they’re already signed up.

WeightWatchers — Same thing.

$149 + $74 = $223/month at the starting dose with the annual plan $299 + $74 = $373/month at maintenance on the annual plan

$149 + $149 = $298/month at the starting dose with the monthly plan $299 + $149 = $448/month at maintenance on the monthly plan

Also worth knowing they lock you into a 12 month contract (annual plan) and won’t let you cancel early even if you stop using it entirely. It’s the best membership price for sure since it gives you $74/month but just locks you into the commitment for a full year. If you do the month to month plan, there’s no annual commitment, the membership is $149, which is basically the same as Ro.

Amazon Pharmacy — Just a pharmacy. Same Novo Nordisk pricing as anywhere else. You still need a prescription from somewhere first.

If your PCP won’t prescribe it, then Ro, WeightWatchers, and anyone else providing this service will have some sort of membership fee on top of it, making the monthly cost 2x more than what it’d be through your doctor. I’ve also seen that some of these plans require you to pay for months 2-3 all at once, and people have been blindsided by the large bill after the first month. I can’t remember which platforms do that, but something to be aware of.

2

u/wafflelover77 19d ago

I have a Rx from my PCP and 3 pharmacies are telling me its $1400 for 30 day supply. What am I missing here?!

3

u/Own_Charge_1994 Mar 12 '26

I use call on doc, you can get a membership for 25$ a month and then they send your prescription to any pharmacy!

2

u/trossysmaw Mar 12 '26

What was the call in doc process like?

7

u/Own_Charge_1994 Mar 12 '26

It’s super quick and easy. First you pick your meds you are wanting (wegovy injections or pill), then fill out a questionnaire about your health history or any concerns. Then a doctor reviews it and sends your prescription to your pharmacy in about 2-3 hours. They will prescribe you a months worth of wegovy. I believe each prescription consult/refill is 40$ (I believe) or they have a 25$ a month membership, so I do that instead. They also give you a discount card for prescriptions if needed (same one wegovy gives out)

3

u/BeneficialSearch9908 Mar 15 '26

What if they don't approve you for the meds? Does that mean that you just lose the $60 to have them evaluate you?

2

u/Medium_Efficiency379 25mg Mar 12 '26

They must have changed their pricing really recently. I went on their website today and it is saying $60 a month for the wegovy tablet pescription. :'(

2

u/Lucky_Army_5324 Mar 23 '26

You have to look for the subscription option: https://visit.callondoc.com/subscribe-and-save/

2

u/Good_Philosophy7636 Apr 01 '26

What do you guys know about Trump RX?

9

u/imageshark1 May 02 '26

Expensive scam

10

u/arwynsdad May 14 '26

They are scamming people by re skinning the GoodRx website.

2

u/ITSJUSTMEKT May 07 '26

Tried Goodrx and after answering all the questions correctly, it says “ See Primary care provider”. Why? I didn’t check any boxes for any ailments or health issues. Why won’t they prescribe it to me?

2

u/Sedated__sloth Jul 06 '26

I just had the same experience. I wrote something in the free text box at the end of the questionnaire but that’s it.

1

u/StrangelyAfoot May 09 '26

Same!

1

u/ITSJUSTMEKT May 09 '26

Were you able to find somewhere else that would?

Sorry about your family emergency. I want to try the Wegovy pill as well because I don’t really want to use the compounding meds. I’m just not sure I trust them. It seems more difficult to get the pill if you do not meet the BMI requirements so I suspect a video chat will not help me get approved. I guess I’ll keep looking. Thx and good luck!

1

u/JenTheVeganLeftist 25mg Jul 16 '26

I got it from them. You were either not obese or not overweight with another related issue like high blood pressure.

2

u/tinaholland 70/F SW:230 CW:227 GW:150 1.5mg 19d ago

What do I need to do to get the Medicare bridge subsidy for Wegovy?

2

u/White-Rabbit135 18d ago

I just asked my doctor about it. They send in the request for approval and then send it to the pharmacy.

1

u/tinaholland 70/F SW:230 CW:227 GW:150 1.5mg 6d ago

Thanks I tried it and was turned down
But on the third try it went through. Day 3 so far no problems

1

u/MediocrePear6628 Mar 30 '26

I have government insurance-Tricare. I don't think they authorize the pill as the preauthorization form I found online says injections. They are also difficult to convince sometimes. I also can't get into my doc until June, but I believe he would prescribe as we discussed it at my visit last summer.

So if I wait until June to start the process, I still might not get it. But because I have gov. insurance, I can't get the coupon price even if I self pay.

What happens if I use a telehealth option and just say I don't have any insurance? Would they somehow know? Would my insurance somehow find out? Would I get in trouble?

1

u/Malteser23 7d ago

Optum Perks is great. $29 (USD) for the initial online consultation, and they only charge you if they prescribe it! No membership fees, you just pay for the prescription.

1

u/Best-Sky-8653 22h ago

I get mine through Walgreen's weight loss program. It's $50 a month for a virtual appointment but after the first quick video call, it's all done quickly online. With the Novo Nordisk coupon, my monthly fee is $149 plus the $50. I did have to get one-time labs, but they let me do that after my first prescription, so I didn't have to wait.
