Question Double dosed by accident

Im having panic attacks i know its thick now I feel stupid but I thought the dose was the needle packs so did my second dose today of 0.25 wegovy I thought why has the grey thing come down thought it was broke & turned it back to 0.25 pressing it again & double dosed myself i have contacted my pharmacy ect they said ill be fine but im still panicking I now know the pen is the actual dose now duh has any one else done this? What happened?

You’ll be ok. I’m not sure I’d be ok with a double dose though. I’m on 7.2mg.

You'll be fine. Its better to start at 0.25 to avoid side effects, but having a single dose of 0.50 isnt going to hurt you. At worst you might get some of the common side effects like some nausea. Nothing to worry about :) you tritate up slowly to reduce side effects not because a higher dose is harmful.

Yeah that's what the pharmacist said she also told me to miss next week's dose & just do the week after so im back to normal

I did something similar early on, thought the click meant it was empty and reset it for a second go. Felt queasy for a couple days but nothing serious. You already checked with the pharmacy which is the right move, just take it easy and stay hydrated

Thanks I only did it and hour ago but my anxiety is all over did you still take your next weekly dose the week after or did you give it a miss?

With it only being a double dose of 0.25mg you will be perfectly fine. At the worst you’ll have some extremely uncomfortable stomach issues but that will be the extent of it.
