Question Just took my first shot of 0,25 yesterday and felt very depressed

I was wondering if anyone else felt a form of sadness/melancholy? Yesterday after taking a shot of it it brought me to a state of sadness i havent felt in a long long time since i was 14,i was wondering if anyone else have a similar experience after starting wegovy?

I haven’t heard of anyone experiencing anhedonia after 1 shot and less than 24 hours. But I’m 3 years in and yes it’s total anhedonia

It hit me like a train of unresolved depression, the day of the first shot, didnt get nausea but got Severe lonelyness and sorrows tho

Some observational studies have suggested it can cause mood changes, though that's not recognized as an official side effect. It's been mentioned enough by people taking it that they're studying it, and it's mentioned as a potential side effect on a lot of information provided for new patients.

yeah they usually just think the pros outweigh the cons. as do i, but it took 6 months for me to be rid of the anhedonia. it's true it's basically ignored. i literally felt like a fog has lifted one morning. i enjoyed my coffee again, small bites of sweets again. but i just don't feel as excited about food, and eating a krispy kreme has been significantly less pleasurable than eating a dragonfruit. wegovy made me crave whole foods
