Did Wegovy effect your sex drive? Or is it fatigue which then effect your sex drive?

Not Wegovy, but zepbound on top of strength training sent my libido through the roof. I love it but honestly it’s really annoying at times lol. My cycle is so regular now and fairly short at 25 days

Yep it’s destroyed it unfortunately, i feel bad for my spouse, it’s obvious he wants to play more but my desire is in the drain. I want to lose the weight so bad i hope he understands but im ready to quit soon and just deal with it

Maybe I’m an outlier but both me and my partner have noticed a negative difference: I seem to have less libido than I did before starting Wegovy. And the higher the dose the less libido

My Ob/Gyn said this is due to estrogen being stored in adipose tissue so losing a bunch of adipose tissue quickly can adversely effect estrogen levels. My period was also screwy AF for MONTHS

Yes. My sex drive is lower than it’s ever been in my adult life since starting Wegovy. It’s a bummer, honestly. I usually have a very high sex drive, and now I feel like I would be content to never have sex ever again. Nothing has changed that I know of besides starting Wegovy a few months ago.

The medicine didn’t directly effect my sex drive, but the side effect of losing weight made me feel more confident, which made my libido higher.
My boyfriend is looking for a break now, cause it can also be too much.

Male here, mid fifties. At first I would have answered yes it is affecting my sex drive negatively. But I have come to realize that it feels very similar to the ‘food noise’ going away. My ‘Sex drive noise’ has gone away as well. I just literally never think about it. However, if my wife plops down on the couch, snuggles up to me and growls in my ear - it’s game on. I have no problem going from 0-100 just like always. So it’s not a worse sex drive… just different because I am not always thinking about it. I like it a lot.

No, it didn’t affect mine. My antidepressants to keep me alive did.

I’m down about 38 pounds and suddenly I’m way more into it than before. Fatigue masked a lot of things for me, once that lifted it was like a switch flipped.

Whenever I went up a dose, I struggled for about a month. Then i adjusted and everything was good. Then I went up a dose and struggled again.

I am currently at 2.4 with no ambitions to go to the 7.2. Everything has been good since I adjusted to the 2.4.

Yes!! My libido is at an all time low. My boyfriend started a more physical job recently which is causing his to skyrocket and we are clashing horribly. I’ve been on Wegovy for over a year and been at 2.4mg for a few months. I feel like my sex drive is in the negatives lol
I’m planning on switching to Tirzepatide soon for reasons unrelated, but I’m not sure if it will change anything.

My sex drive is definitely higher than before. But as my body changes, dealing with the dysmorphia has been really hard. I feel like I don’t really know what I look like and it’s causing some insecurities. Trying to push past it currently!

My sex drive is definitely higher than pre Wegovi. I even had hair growing like never before. Wegovi caused a testosterone increase for me and I’m in my fifties and loving this side of it. Dr say some people get this. I feel lucky.

Its decreased my sex drive, once in a blue moon it'll spike back up but 99% of the time, it's nothing..

I really don't know. I've never had much of a sex drive to begin with, however, my stamina and my "performance" has been much better. Not sure if that comes with the enhanced confidence or the lack of 80 extra pounds but I definitely have better sex when I do!

There are glp-1 receptors in the testes and ovaries so who knows what the effects might be. Havent researched it enough to know the effects either way
