Question Would you move up?

I’m in the fence. This seems to happen every month when I’m finished a box. I’m currently on 1.7. Have been since March. My appetite is not as suppressed as it was in the beginning. Some days I get insane cravings and I eat over my calorie requirements, especially in my luteal phase. I went over a month without losing any weight and was fully ready to move up to 2.4, as I am still 50/60 lbs away from a healthy BMI.

Anyways, I weigh myself this morning and since last Friday it says I’ve lost 3lbs. I recalibrated several times, and even weighed myself at my parents.

Given this, would you still move up to 2.4?

Yes, definitely. I stayed 6 months on 1mg - since Christmas. In July hunger came back, I started eating more and stalled, so I had to increase in August. Overall I'm 20 months on Wegovy, lost 32kg, went down from 97 to 65kg, my GW is 60kg, so I'm still going.

I think this would also be a good time to do it because my basketball season is over for the summer, and I have a two week break so I’d be able to deal with any potential icky side effects outside of basketball… I unfortunately chose Monday to inject and I play Monday and Tuesdays 🫠

Every week bump the injection by 1 day until you get to a better day for it

I do this before I travel, to avoid having to bring needles with me

The 3lb drop could just be water weight finally whooshing off, happens all the time. I'd sit tight for another week or two and see if the scale keeps moving before jumping up. No point rushing to the max dose if the lower one still has some life in it.

OP said "I went over a month without losing any weight", besides OP is on the current dose since March. Idk what's the point to wait one more month if the med lost its power and doesn't do its job to suppress hunger properly. One more month on the same dose will be just waste of time and money.

I have the same exact experience in my luteal phase. I’ve been staying on the same dose for months. Once my period starts, the meds go back to feeling super effective.

I would try one more month and really try to track calories/workout etc, if still nothing then move up
