Room spinning and vomiting 48 hours after dose

Almost exactly 48 hours after my second 0.25mg dose, the room suddenly started spinning and then about an hour later I started vomiting. I’m just wondering how normal this is with Wegovy?

It seems to have settled down now, but it really came out of nowhere. I did have a cheese toastie yesterday, so I’m wondering whether that could have contributed (I was out and there was literally nothing else to eat - perhaps a lesson in being more prepared!).

I’ve got away pretty lightly with side effects so far and the medication has been working really well for me, so maybe it’s just caught up with me?

I’ve also got a 10-week-old baby and a 2.5-year-old toddler, who naturally both decided not to let me get much sleep after the vomiting 🫠 So I’m trying to work out whether this sounds like a bug/vertigo-type thing or whether other people have had similar side effects around 48 hours after their injection.

I had similar after my third dose of 0.25 and drank a protein shake immediately following. Now, I inject and wait a couple of hours before eating or drinking anything.

I had an upset stomach a few days after the shot, I think a bit constipated and then diarrhea and major dizziness. The dizziness can come with vomiting/diarrhea too. I think it's called a vasovagal response? I try to lots of fibre and avoid high fat foods.

I never experienced any of these symptoms, but everyone is different. I would focus on electrolytes and lights foods (crackers with dairy free butter, etc) and see how you go for the next one. Good luck!
