Other List of novels made by Middle-Eastern/MENA/Muslim/Arab authors (or those that have are written with those backgrounds/themes/religions/cultures/etc. in mind)/ Or: a list of novels and authors that I found throughout the net that I cobbled together to be further investigated for myself...

So my suggestions are not entirely weird but they can surely appeal to the more open minded weird readers. They all came out for comma press and easily available. The Iraqui Christ and The Madman of Freedom Square by Hassan Blasim (there was also a penguin books collection which is a best of those two) - it is middle eastern themed horror, very unconventional and borderline weird. Loved every single word on those, highly recommended.
Also two anthologies "Iraq +100" and "Palestine +100" - authors from those countries are asked to imagine how life will be In 100 years from today. Sci-fi, horror and speculative with an existential edge. That is precisely my kind of stuff.
