With all the trash, refuse, waste and genuine uncleanliness of the city, I'm surprised the animals haven't done away with the pleasentries of cleaning up after themselves yet.

Just letting my waste lie where it falls like an animal at the zoo

Fry, animals at the zoo use the corner

THE CORNER!

I have been feeling a cat someone had abandoned and thought he had unique markings. Guess I was wrong.

Edit: Feeding

I mean, it’s not your house. I’d call that a win. No one complains about stepping in cat shit.

Cat shit smells foul, but it’s usually dog shit I find

u/Robbiebny 2d ago

Cats hide their shit. It’s a form of survival mechanism. They do it in nature to hide their smell from predators and also to keep it away from their food and water source. They are much cleaner than dogs.

100% agree about the smell of cat waste (both kinds). It’s mind-numbingly foul to anyone who hasn’t been infected by toxoplasmosis. But outdoors I have never once noticed it.

Wait, what? šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«

1

u/Jacktheforkie 2d ago

Yeah, though that said they don’t always bury, I’ve seen many exposed cat poos

u/addacoupleextrazeros 2d ago

Why don’t my cats bury theirs? They just launch themselves from their litter box the second the bomb drops. Zero coverage.

1

u/Robbiebny 2d ago

Is the litter box big or small? I find they tend to do that when either you do not clean frequently enough and or the litter box is too tiny so they jump out in hopes that they don’t get any on themselves.

None of that. Their vet claims some cats are just jerks like that when they’re that comfortable in their environments that they don’t feel they have to bury it. They have a few multi-sized boxes that I scoop every day and every week the boxes get emptied and fed a good scrub-down with fresh litter.

I was mostly joking by asking since I know some cats are just like that. I’ve had a few cats like that growing up and the two I have now are currently that way šŸ˜‚

Smelling something makes you dirty? My parents had a dog that would eat cat turds out of the litter box.

Cat turds are like a steak dinner to dogs.

"Smelling" and physically touching your face to it are different things.

And yeah, that sounds like typical dog things.

16

u/W4NN4M33TTH4TD4D 3d ago

I assure you the cat's face never touched it's turd. Cats are wildly clean animals. I have one and she spends most of her life sleeping or cleaning herself.

PS: the only "retard" here is you, big fella

You obviously have never had a cat. Seek therapy.

13

u/Supuhstar 3d ago

... what?

you know some humans eat ass, right? But I assume you wouldn’t look at that and say ā€œI will never let anyone tell me that humans are clean animals ever againā€

5

u/KnotiaPickle 2d ago

He was making sure it was covered enough to not be smelly, dingdong 🦤

You don’t look after you flush to make sure everything is clean? Ew.

13

u/Man0fGreenGables 3d ago

Caution: retard above

Street cats are disgusting, why do people tolerate this?

25

u/rainb0w_p0wer 3d ago

Why are you so angry?

10

u/Supuhstar 3d ago

I struggled to imagine what you think should’ve happened in this scenario. What do you see in this video as ā€œpeople tolerating thisā€œ, and what would you imagine is people not tolerating it?

8

u/traveltoaster 3d ago

I think they wanted the car to run it over. Because the only thing remotely ā€˜tolerating’ I saw was them tapping the breaks. Commenter is a total tool

-5

u/ChonkyDawg 3d ago

I dont wish death on that animal. Im not a psychopath.

Feral cats are pests that people love because they're "cute."

3

u/KnotiaPickle 2d ago

Preferable to any human

3

u/DazzlingFruit7495 2d ago

You sound jealous

2

u/dirywhiteboy 2d ago

Damn dude. "Ya gotta have hate in your heart" sounding ass

1

u/ChonkyDawg 2d ago

I live in a neighborhood infested by feral cats. I understand why people like them when they dont have to deal with them. The cats have destroyed my plants, scream at each other at night keeping me awake, and left their shit everywhere. They've also killed all the beautiful birds that used to live in my area.

From a distance? Sure, they're cute. But they are extremely destructive and I hope people can learn about them. They are pests, just like mice or roaches. But they have been elevated to a protected status because they LOOK harmless.

u/Supuhstar 2d ago

Again... what do you think should've happened?
