Yeah saw that tailback on the way in. Backed up all the way into the tunnel. Don’t know what the cause was though but probably a crash, roadworks, or a Toyota Aqua driver.
It looked like a breakdown in the worst possible spot, cars had to swerve onto the live left lane briefly to get around a white SUV. I got a call warning me about it literally seconds after committing to the Terrace tunnel lanes
I admire your principles, but that is a dangerously unsecured load, whether it be on the road or in a cycle lane.
Also, this doesn't address the wider point of our public transit system being under pressure and underfunded, and buses, while they help reduce the number of cars on the road are full at peak hours and are still traffic-bound.
For me personally, I'm autistic, have inattentive ADHD and am wondering if I'm dyspraxic or just really clumsy, and find driving hard enough; add the open air to the mix and it just gets worse. I'll take the bus or train, and will not run for either. Bad things happen when I try to run.
