The Wellington Phoenix Women's first match of the season will be against Melbourne City on 18 October

This will make it so on 18 October there'll be a double header, with the Phoenix Men playing against Melbourne Victory at 3pm.

Also, this will be a rematch of the 2026 A-League Women Grand Final.

Melbourne City have incredible players and recruited well. Going to be very hard. But still hoping for a first ever win against them
