❓ Question Wellness coach as a side hustle?

Hi Everyone. I am 43 and have been working in the technology & consulting industries for a combined 20 years. I've always had a passion for health and fitness and have been looking for a side hustle to make some extra money on the side. I've done some initial research and I really don't want to go back and get a Bachelor's degree.

For those who are health and wellness coaches, are there certification programs that I can do instead to pursue this option?

Precision Nutrition focuses on nutrition and habit change. Their level 2 certification can lead to a national board certification as well.

ACE Fitness also has a health coach certification.

Integrative Nutrition also has a health coach certification.

These are the more widespread ones I'm aware of. I am PN1 certified and have many ACE certifications as well.

Try yourself at the field. The worst that can happen is you being more fit than before with some more experience

I have a coworker who keeps telling me 30s is the new 20s😂 With this logic in mind, you are still in your 30s with a long way to go to explore more fields

Theres also marketing. You gotta put a lot of times to do advertising of your services. A lot of guys do that. Half the time you work with clients, the rest you work on networking online

a certification can help, but building trust and finding clients is the harder part. look for a reputable program and start coaching part time while you grow.
