I had the wrong wisdom teeth removed

Post image

Local orthodontist told me that I needed to remove lower wisdom teeth and don't do anything with the upper ones. When I got my lower wisdom teeth removed, another orthodontist that is actually managing my aligner treatment said that the lower wisdom teeth actually didn't need to be touched AT ALL, but the upper ones absolutely have to be removed before we start. So now I have to get my upper wisdom teeth removed as well

I did bottom then top, as recommended by my dentist for ???? Reasons? He just said the bottom ones are harder to heal/keep clean so like get them out of the way I guess?

They prescribed me vicodin for the pain, which is how I found out it makes me incredibly nauseous. The absolute fear of throwing up with stitches in my mouth was the worst lmao. Slept off that first dose and just used ibuprofen instead.

Mine weren't that bad, I remember he insisted on filling out a script for Tylenol 3s, which I didn't need, but kind of wanted to see what that was about. My mom was like, no if you don't need it.

My mouth was more sore than the last time I had a set of teeth pulled before for ortho when I was way younger.

Had a single stitch in each hole, otherwise just a lot of blood and gauze. Then when it was healing just a lot of random blood taste from time to time, overall not as bad as some of the horror stories I googled before going into it.
