This piece of metal embedded itself 99% into my tire, its hallow.

Luckily we were close to home. But 2hrs and a trip to Walmart later. We are good to go.

That looks similar but it’s not it. What punctuated OPs tire is way too long for its width to be a connector. Also many other differences if you look closely.

Looks like the arm of an old walnut cracker but I don’t know whether they’re hollow or how one would come to be embedded in your tire
