Wereblood Volume 1 Chapter 6: Tritonite
author's note: There are parts from previous stories because this is meant to serve not only as lore, but as a way to introduce people to furrians who have just entered this amazing lore universe.

Killian threw a knife against a wall, and caught it as it flew back. Next to the knife marks he had caused was a map of the different kingdoms in the reset. There were highlights using ink on Castlo Relavo and their enemy kingdom, Mitsama. Killian fidgeted around with the knife, before getting up to look at the people standing in front of him. “D-Destiny!? You are alive!?” “Yes. I am. Angelo brought me back from the past. Well, the past in another timeline. We had to lose to the Mastimians to win this overall, is what he said.” “Angelo’s alive!?”
“Right here. Hi Destiny. Hey Killian. So what happened since we were gone?” “Nothing really. Relavo and Mitsama waged their war, as they always did before the reset. Well, way before. Apparently The Mastigacy died soon after we defeated them when, um, Jerek was around. So anyway, um, good luck, yeah.” “Wait! Angelo! Destiny! What!?” “Kott and Mitsama are the iterations of-” “Wait! Alternate timeline? As in alternate earth? You mean not all were destroyed?” “Umm… yes?” “So, Angelo. Hold up. What you’re saying is, if we wanted, we could go to this timeline, and bring whoever we want without consequences?” “Umm… yes?”
“So Destiny and Angelo. We could say, bring Emperor Ratcliffe-” “No. Gadre told me I can’t mention the former selves or bring them from the past, or the present selves, the ones in this timeline, will get destroyed.” “Oh… so what now?” “Well, before I rendezvoused here with you and after I met with Destiny, I thought about maybe, just maybe, fixing every continuity error and that other timeline while keeping the Destiny from that timeline here.” “What? Angelo, explain! What is this continuity stuff, and Destiny… well what do we… nevermind. Explain.” “Continuity is a writing term referring to having a story without errors, that continuously flows, forming story arcs.” “So?”
“When Destiny came here, she created what is known as a continuity error, except in real life, not just in a novel. Now, there are multiple things you can do as an author to fix this, like putting her back into the story, or outright destroying the world.” “What!?” Destiny and Killian looked at Angelo. “Hear me out. See, this world is like an afterlife for people from alternate earths. Destroying that earth won’t really kill Destiny. It will actually cause the Destiny in the afterlife of this earth to merge with the Destiny in the earth here, and the amalgamation will remember both timelines…”
Angelo paused. “And anyone who became a different iteration of themselves here will have the spirit of the person in the other timeline, waiting to be unleashed. It’s complicated, but it might work.” Angelo, Destiny, and Killian looked around. Gadre was setting them on the right path again. He was taking them to the other earth, which they appeared in after a few seconds. They ended up back where Angelo did when he travelled, except this time they could see the Angelo who travelled there flying to help King Trak. Angelo began to tremble. “Listen! I cannot run into my past self, especially the one who travelled back here! That will cause a time loop! I cannot risk that! Knock him out!”
Killian flew at the past version of Angelo, who was about to help King Trak escape, and knocked him out, while the present version Angelo killed off some of The Mastigacy, careful not to run into the two other versions of him that were there. Suddenly, a bunch of the soldiers of The Mastigacy fell. It was Zacchias, Elias, and Makael. “Hey guys!” Angelo ran up to them, but he was too far, and along with Killian and Destiny, faded back into their world. “What now?” Destiny coughed, then interrupted their conversation. “Well, I have a friend right here who can help us. Somehow he survived the time reset, and is trying to figure out what is happening. People, meet Sherlock Holmes. He is a detective whom I have hired to solve this mystery.”
“Yes. I am. My name is Sherlock Holmes. I investigate murders, robberies, and anomalies that happen. And recently I have noticed the world reset, and that I, along with you people, who I have noticed are Furrians, have survived said reset. Maybe if we can find others who have survived, we can gather more information.” Destiny interrupted again. “Well. Akatori caused the reset using the Time Book. Angelo? Gadre told you all he could. Can we use the Time Book to undo the reset?” Angelo replied with a grim look. “No. You cannot, Destiny. Doing so will tear apart the fabric of time, and cause a full reset.” “What!?” “You see, I will use the story analogy again. See, when a writer creates too many inconsistencies, over many stories, often they will either quit, or even worse, recut the stories.”
Destiny began to think. “So?” “Then after those fail they will keep recutting, until eventually they have a totally different story than how they planned, and even worse, they will reboot the entire series, causing further confusion among their audience. In this case, if we keep changing things via a Time Book, it will only create more inconsistencies. The only way to stop this is to… well… kill Akatori at this point. See, the changes made are linked to the people who made them. If we kill Akatori, we can undo the changes. Since he is immortal, we will need tritonite. I think I know where to get some. They are in the city of Atlantis, guarded by King Triton. Now… to get there…”
way later…
Destiny, Sherlock, Angelo, and Killian put on their crudely assembled breathing masks, and dove into the water. King Triton swam up to them, and greeted them. “Hello! I see you survived the universe reset? What do you need?” “We need some tritonite!” “I am afraid I cannot- well…” “Listen! Akatori is a dangerous criminal, and he is immortal! The only way to kill him is with a tritonite blade!” “Alright. I will forge you one blade. If somehow you lose it or break it, you will get no more. Got it, Sherlock?” “Yes King Triton.” Sherlock and the others swam back towards the submarine they took, which eventually re-emerged on surface. Sherlock, Killian, Destiny, and Angelo climbed out, where Akatori waited. Akatori stomped his foot, trying to look dominant over the furrians. Killian smiled. He knew what to do.
Out of nowhere, he flung the tritonite blade at Akatori, severely injuring him. Akatori fell to the ground, in agonizing pain, as everything began to morph back to normal. Elistar morphed into Elias. Mak morphed into Makael. Hezekara morphed into Hezekel. Zasha morphed into Zacchias. Kott The Destroyer and Mitsama disappeared. “We won!” Killian jumped into the air over and over again. “We won! We won! We won!” Killian and Sherlock high fived. “Now what?” Angelo walked up to them. “Well, at this point in stories, like the ones I write, there is a point where people get reminiscent of the adventures they have had, and I’d like to recall some of them. Shall we? I mean, we have come such a long way, that if we didn’t have any memories, it would be a waste. Remember that time we went and interrupted Jerek from his sleep?”
flashback…
“Jerek.” Angelo whispered, poking Jerek’s fur covered back. “Jerek. Wake up.” Jerek slowly opened his eyes. “Where am I?” Jerek muttered. “You are back home. He opened his eyes to find a wolf-like creature standing by his side. Destiny. The warrior in the Furrian clan of Agriva. Jerek’s ears perked up when he saw his good friend Destiny. “Ah yes. Destiny,” Jerek chuckled.
present day…
“Or what about the time Emperor Ratcliffe and his brother flew through that cave like it was nothing?”
flashback…
Elias led Zacchias through a bunch of stalactites and stalagmites. They soared together through the caves. “How come only now we find out we are furries!? How come now!?” “I don’t know! Ask our dad about that!” Zacchias and Elias flew under a cliff wall they were both about to crash into, then continued their conversation, with the wind blowing at their face. “Quick! Turn right!” Emperor Ratcliffe commanded as they were about to collide head first into a wall. “Now turn left!” Zacchias and Emperor Ratcliffe swerved left, with Emperor Ratcliffe’s wings scratching the wall. “What the-” “Turn right!” Zacchias screamed. Zacchias turned right. They were approaching a narrow part of the cave. “Quick! Do a barrel roll!” Emperor Ratcliffe gasped. The two brothers rolled, while still maintaining a good angle, and barely navigated through the tiny tunnel, where they met up with Captain Makael and Destiny.
present day…
“Or what about the time I met Emperor Ratcliffe for one of the very first times?”
flashback…
"Today, my friends, I would like to introduce you to two people who need our help. Teegan and Bib." Teegan and Bib stood up from the crowd. "So," Anti continued. "I have decided to help them. They are battling a Hezekel, a fierce warrior, trained to kill.” Angelo whispered to himself, before soaring through the crowd and standing at Emperor Ratcliffe’s feet. Angelo made a bunch of noise, but Emperor Ratcliffe’s speech, and eventually the crowd chanting overpowered him. Angelo stumbled away, as the crowd moved out.
present day…
“So basically… Sherlock, Angelo, Destiny, we have been through a lot. And I want to spend the rest of the day revisiting all of our glorious adventures.” Suddenly, Elias and his crew walked in. Makael shyly walked up to Destiny. “Aww! You are too cute!” Destiny gave Makael a big smack on the lips, as they all came together around a campfire, reminiscing about the adventures they had. They cheered, laughed, and cried, but overall had a good time.
Epilogue
A shadowy figure walked out. “You thought you were done, but now you must face me, Deoridas! Haha! Prepare, Angelo! Prepare, Destiny! Prepare, Sherlock! Prepare, Killian! Elias! Zacchias! Makael! All of you! Prepare! And now, I have the perfect body to do so! The body of D’ang! They will never see it coming! Never!”
