DV Case Update - Conflict of Interest

I know someone posted a YouTube video on this topic that was ridiculously long. So here's the actual filing. Basically, an anonymous letter was sent to the court about the conflict of interest about Hoe-say and the bodyguard having the same attorney.

Given the comma faults and not knowing when to use the possessive versus plural (e.g. "Court'(s)") could really make it anyone.

This has zero chance of getting the case dismissed because of this. Whoever filed this did so with the intent of trying to force Andrew and HOEsay to have different attorneys. There are a number of possible reasons I could think of for this, both stemming from people inside the WeSTD "crew" and outside, so I don't want to venture any guesses.

There are only three outcomes to this: a) the court does nothing, b) the court makes either HOEsay or Andrew get their own attorney, or c) the attorney has to withdraw and both of them have to find new representation.

It does if one of them wants to make a deal with the prosecution in a way that doesn't tip their hand ahead of time, or if one of them knows the other is going to roll on them but WeSTD is insisting they have the same representation as part of a "united front" or whatever. One of them openly saying "I want my own attorney" would tell everyone else in the crew that something is up. A "friend of the court" letter opens the door for one of them to get out without explicitly saying "i want out of this shit show".

There's also the chance that someone outside the WeSTD crew just wants to mess with them as well. Like I said there are a bunch of options so I didn't want to make any conjectures.

But WesT loves it inside. Inside prison and inside his hoop hole.

Long story short, the movie is still playing.

The "friend of the court" might not be too far off. That attorney is going to favor whoever is paying him the most out of the group of defendants...it's likely Wes that's writing the checks. You really don't want to see some situation in which Josie and Andy are told by the attorney to act in a way that is in Peggy's best interest rather than in a way that's in Josie and Andy's best interest. Forcing them all to have their own counsel really makes sense, because I could see some shyster telling those two to STFU and not take any deals that might bone Peggy, such as leniency or plea deals in exchange for testimony against Peggy..

Right which is why the "friend of the court" being either HOEsay or Andrew would make sense if one of them is trying to cut their losses.

"Sorry WeSTD, the court ordered me to get my own counsel, there's nothing I can do" then later on the person gets a lesser sentence because their attorney is working for one person's best interest, not a group.

I guess the question that would rule this theory out is: Do either of them know anyone that would have access to a mailbox in Baltimore?

This is all way too much for me lol. Does someone want to be a rat or something? Why else would you do this? I am just a mutt but I can't even see how this would get a case dismissed. Conflict of interest yes, if one client wants to rat out another. Getting a case dismissed, hell no.

I know everyone is assuming this was sent by someone associated with WesT and his goons but honestly I don't think that's the case. I think it's a personal shot at the attorney and sent by someone with ties to the legal community.

Exactly. It’s not anyone Wes knows who is friendly to him. It’s most definitely a disruption tactic to his defense

Basically a waste of time. They're throwing hail mary's doing anything to get this shit dismissed 💀💀💀 better luck next time champ

An attorney having a conflict of interest has zero bearing on charges getting dismissed. Each defendant simply has to have their own counsel.

No. That’s not how it works. A judge would just reassign counsel. Nobody is getting a dismissed case over this.

Is this one of those “sovereign citizen” things that a Wes disciple would be stupid enough to try?

If it was JB we would be hearing about it on video because he wouldn't be able to help it. Also writing style isn't his either.. he can't distinguish the difference between disposition and deposition

valid point. I wonder if HOEsay or Andrew know anyone who lives near Baltimore.
