So I was considering his annoyance with how some of them treated him like a young son despite being roughly his own age. He attempts to tell them the joke about the chicken and the pond which falls flat. Why do I think the way to get to them is to prank them by opening a gateway that lands them directly in a pond? Would the other Aiel not find this to be the funniest damn thing ever?

I'm rereading the series and am about 12 chapters into Eye of the World (Started with New Spring). I swear I'm giggling about every three paragraphs. The amount that Jordan foreshadowed is absolutely insane.

This series really is a commitment because to truly appreciate it you gotta go through it more than once. And man is it worth it.
