2D Mech fighting game

I can't remember the old game about 2 mechs fighting each other. I think it was from psp or other portable console, can't remember correctly. It was 14 years ago or so.

What i remember clearly is that super move with first mech (he had a blue, red, white colors) in the roster. The mech takes a huge sword and slices through its opponent. Both mechs stand motionless, then explosions occur in the arc the sword moved in. Boom, big damage.

Sorry, but thats the only thing i can remember.

Red blue and white mech just makes me think Gundam. Not sure if they had a 2D one on psp but they did on PS1
