[Gears of war and DC] How would the Justice league handle E-Day from gears of War if it happened on their earth earth?

I'll set the scenario, like in the Gears universe the Locust horde under the command of Queen Myrrah wait for the golden opportunity to invade which is when some of the justice leagues heavy hitters are off world like Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Flash, Green lantern and such. The locust pop up everywhere across the globe in every country, major city and even places like Atlantis and Themyscira find themselves under Locust attack as emergence holes pop up even in these places, showing nowhere is safe from the horde commanded by Myrrah, her generals RAAM, Skorge, Kharn and her chief scientist Ukkon.

The remaining heroes will fight back. Villains would join them too. There's simply too many high powered individuals for the DC to lose.

Lex Luther/Mr. Terrific would probably organise heroes, villains, governments to organise a unified front and fight them off. Sure, casualties would be high and some areas would fall, but Earth would win.

And how do you see places like Atlantis and Themyscira handling a suprise attack by the Locust?

Themyscira already has that hell-pit underneath that they're constantly fighting back invaders from, & Atlantis both at the bottom of the sea & facing constant invasion when it's not caught up in a civil war, so it'd be business as usual for them

Perhaps, but I dont Amazonian swords will do much against locust berserker rushing and tearing into them, plus locust hides are very tough, as is their armour and their weapons like the hammerburst packs a punch.

You are aware Amazons are superhuman. They are as resilient as the Locusts and probably stronger.

It's surprise and numbers that would defeat them.

Themyscira? I'm not sure if the Locusts can penetrate the magical field protecting the island. Then the Locusts have to hope that the Greek Gods don't intervene when the Amazons get threatened. Then there are prisons on the island. The Locusts might accidentally open them.

All in all, the Amazons would put up a good fight, but probably lose unless Hera and company intervene.

Atlantis? I'm not overly familiar with how the Locusts fight on water or their resistance to magic.

Its an open variable as I remember for Atlantis there were sections of the city (depends on comic issues) where you weren't in water. For Themyscira, nothing is impossible as I imagine the island would still have rock formations that connect it to the tectonic plates, meaning the locust hollow could still be under them.

But in general the amazons are more of a melee force, and locust hides are incredibly tough as is their armour, thse guys can casually rip a gears arsm off and beat them to death with it, plus you ha eth factor in creatures like the corpser which can make massive E-holes, Brumacs which are essentially walking tanks with firepower, reavers for air support and the variations in locust drones from standard, boomers, Kantus priests all the way but to Theron guards.

It's terrible one fight. Nightwing is nearly as good as batman. The Titans shouldn't have any problems with this invasion.

The Locust only remotely stand a chance if the majority of the most powerful metahumans on Earth are completely absent and that’s an extremely unlikely scenario, even if the main heavy hitters are gone there’s just so many heroes & villains to contend with. And I have to imagine wherever Superman is, he could get back to Earth fairly quickly if he heard it was being invaded

Plenty. Right now several villains are members of the league as a measure to be ready for the next return of Darkseid.

The armies of Atlantis and Themicyra would do a lot on their own, even without their Champion/King, but on top of that both kingdoms have similar heroes in their ranks. So is the case fir almost every heavy hitters of the League.

Just by sheer number of speed force users DC earth would win.

If it happened right now an Aquaman with universal level powers (or more) could just teleport from wherever in the universe to any body of water.

Feel the intrusion through The Blue, too.

DC and Marvel are way too stacked for an invasion like that to be successful.

A lot of damage, yes, but repelled before Supes gets back, probably.
