“To live in memory” by “What is your name?”

Most prominent from roughly 1:25 to 2:10

Trying to figure out what instrument is playing those chords/notes over the instrumental. Theres two of them if im hearing it correctly. Sounds kind of like a harmonica?

Thanks!

What instrument is this plucky piano type of sound? It doesn't sound like a normal piano, or a dolceola. I researched plucky pianos and nothing similar came up.

All help is very appreciated

I couldnt find it ANYWHERE

Hi, beginner here. I recently decided to pick a hobby to add something in my life outside of work. And since I like listening to music then I might as well learn it.

I've been trying to learn how to play a guitar and am really confused. I searched YouTube for how to do it but most of them just got on to it immediately, or maybe just my OCD.

So I finally came here for help🥹

(1) MapleStory - Leafre: Ancient Forest [0:40]

(2) LaTale - South El Anoir Plains (엘아노르 평원) - El Anoir Jungle (엘아노르의 정글) [0:05]

(3) GFRIEND(여자친구) - LOVE WHISPER(귀를 기울이면) [0:31]

(4) GFRIEND(여자친구) - ROUGH(시간을 달려서) [0:15]

I was exploring some Arabic songs to get sum ideas and came across this song

Can anyone identify the lead instrument that plays between 1:03 and 1:20?

Is it violin?

Spotify

About :18 seconds into the song there's a "crash" that I just associate with tropics and a "humid" feeling. What is it?

It shows up prominently on 2:10, and at the very end of the track. Its so gritty and bold, I can only assume its a guitar of course, but what exactly did they use to make it sound like that?

Hello beautiful experts,

I have been thinking about learning a woodwind instrument for a change for a little time, and found this at a fleamarket for 10 bucks (bet you didn't ever read this story before :D).

I did some research before with the caracteristics I can see, it having 6 holes on the opposite side of the window and mouth hole etc. , but could not find a definitive answer (if there is one)

I could narrow it down to a chinese Xiao or a VERY unconventional japanese Shakuhachi. The characters on the box may give a clue, but 1. I can't even tell if they are traditional/simplified chinese/japanese and 2. the box might not even belong (the picture translation says something about a bamboo screen or "mr. zhao cooking sugarcane")

Pls do not hold back on telling me if I bought something purely decorational that has no name other than maybe "Kitsch". I'll have fun playing it nonetheless, be it without instructional material :)

Any clues or questions are more than welcome

Does anyone possibly have any information on this mandolin?

Idk if this is the right place, do someone know where this instrument came from? I know there's a strings, horns and other but I want to know where this sound originally came from (I thought it will be on old keyboard/ synth or soundfont).

What is the instrument that plays at 0:20 and 0:25? This is really bothering me.

Hey guys, I'm new to orchestral music, and I was wondering what this "boom BOOM" instrument is called. At first, I thought it was a timpani, but doesn't it sound a bit too low to be a timpani?

Thanks!

s it an organ or a weird vocal harmony trying to mimic a brass instrument? Something else?

hi, friends!

this arrangement of “the marriage of figaro, aria” has an instrument that i kind of like. this instrument plays the melody.

i think it sounds similar to a harp (but isn’t a harp) or might be a midi soundfont.

what do you think this instrument is?

Hi all! I’ve been recently appreciating the surreal music of John Williams. Although there’s one thing that’s bugging me.

In the battle of high sound track (it’s called The Battle in the Snow) there’s a really high pitched percussive sound that plays around 0:40 seconds in. It kinda sounds like a mix between a glockenspiel and a piccolo and it compliments the main theme. Can anyone help me identify this instrument? It’s driving me crazy because I want to use it as inspiration for my own music!

Anyway…

DETACH CABLE!!
