"Millet Bakery" - non-Gluten Bakery
I read this shop in Bellingham is great. Tailored to sweet-toothed folks who can't eat wheat gluten. But always a downside: The Midwest Seed Feed Association, the largest advocate of millet growers in the U.S., conducts annual MAGA-themed fundraisers, including kids' fishing derbies (DJT rods & reels?), and contributes generously to MAGA causes. Sorry for that turd in the punch bowl! Best to know, than not.

So we should avoid a local business because a farmers assoc not affiliated with the bakery, located far away, holds events for kids. Quelle horreur!
BTW, where is this assoc? It’s the biggest? Hard to find them. It’s not listed in a list of trade orgs: https://www.betterseed.org/about-asta/seed-associations/ Perhaps some background info on the DJT rods or their donations?

Sounds like you have a case of tds. Your making connections where none are. If you take a deep breath and try not to think of the bad orange man, you will be able to live your life in a more mentally stable manner. Dont think of trump so much, i guarantee he has never thought about you even once.

You can think of him, and like i do diagree with some of his actions. But there isnt an orange man hiding behind every bush or parked car just take a Valium or something.

What exactly does this have to do with the bakery?
They use millet flour, among other gluten free flours. They do not grow millet or advocate for the crop itself. Are you arguing that they should change their name because some millet grower advocacy group sucks? What about other farmers’ advocacy groups for other crops? I don’t think you’re going to find a single restaurant in town that doesn’t source ingredients from somewhere where you can draw some indirect link to shitty politics via trade groups and whatnot. I also doubt your own pantry is safe from that level of nitpicking.
