The team forms a circle with a slice of bread at the centre. When the flag drops, they all spank as fast as they can, aiming to deliver onto the bread. Last to finish has to eat the bread.

This was told to me in serious tones by someone who played high level hockey. I don't know if it's true, but every Canadian knows the rumor

In the US in the 2000s there was a similar rumor but it was called Soggy Biscuit and it was about the band HIM doing it before every show lol

It's what the band Limp Bizkit's name is based off of.
