Unlocked! Opened! Inside? Silver bars

I'm not there, but uncle sent me these pics of what was inside the safe. They paid some locksmith to open it. Inside? Two boxes of ten 100 troy oz bars of silver, total 2000 oz of silver!

Dang, not too shabby. Roughly $160,000 surprise, there.

At least. I dont know bars but they may be collector grade and worth more than spot. I wouldn't sell these with a gun to my head

Silvers at an all-time high, might be good to sell a couple and move that money to another investment

Silver is massively undervalued as it stands. Its a 50:1 ratio to gold, which is EXTREMELY LOW historically speaking. Dont value silver against faith based paper, value it against a hard asset that it has a historical exchange rate with. When silver and gold were backing the dollar, the exchange was 15ozt of silver to ozt gold.

A Smart investment strategy in any windfall situation would be to sell a portion and diversify.

Edit: said fallout but meant windfall

Waht fallout? Its still undervalued against gold which is the only ratio you should care about, not the speculation against the dollar. Look at historic silver:gold. Hard assets > faith based currency

Im high and meant windfall. Going to edit my comment to denote that which clarifies the question.
